    Blake to San Jose

I'd take Stuart over Blake. Blake is lazy and sucks. By the way calling players that play in the NHL "lazy and sucks" is my favorite pasttime. I owe a great deal to whoever started that trend

Please Stop Calling The Wings A Lock

Wasn't everyone claiming the Ducks would repeat after signing Bert and Schnieder last year and returning most of their team?

    Best offseason for Wings Ever?

This thread is a joke! Am I the only one that see how bad Stuart is? He's lazy and sucks, couldn't do much in the playoffs. Conklin (sp?) sucks and is lazy, couldn't even hold onto the starting job in Pitt. Hossa? He couldn't even lead his team to a Stanley Cup win. This offseason is mild at best. We didn't even get Bert back! Where the hell is all the grit this team needs to win the Cup? Flat out Holland is lazy and sucks. He needs to get off his @$$ and sign someone worth a crap

    Bertuzzi placed on waivers.

This one has some sting to it. Great job Burke! Cannot wait to see what he does with Leafs next year.

How Active Will July 1st Be?

I think things will be hectic the first couple days for the top tiered players. I expect Campbell, Hossa, Redden, and a couple other top FAs will be signed before the 4th. I think Sundin will hold out until he is able to get a clear picture as to what teams rosters look like, I believe he will go to the team that has the best chance at winning a cup next year. I think Chicago will go after one of the top pucking moving defensemen (Campbell, Redden, Rosival) Boston will take a mid level Dman and look for a top forward (Hossa, Nasland, Demitra) San Jose is in the market for a Dman if they can't hold on to Campbell, I can see Redden going there This year is as hard as any to get a gage of where players will go because of the 6mill increase in the cap. Once the top players go the rest will fall into place. I'm no Ekland, these are complete guesses Campbell - Blackhawks Malone- Wild Redden- Sharks Sundin- Rangers Stuart- Kings (I hate this one) Hossa- Canadians Satan- Devils (just like the name fitting) Rolston- Avs

Wings Still Want to Keep Stuart

Well Stuart had a good run with us. I just have a bad feeling that he will sign in or around California. I just hope it's not with the Ducks. I just think there are way too many factors working against the Wings

    Kenny Holland

I think for him to keep this team competitive every year deserves credit. I cannot remember a time where he did not give our team what it needed to compete for the Cup. We all know how hard it is and how lucky teams need to be with health. (Watching Kronner this year makes me wonder what we really missed in last years playoffs) I have always trusted Holland and even though I would have done somethings differently I will never complain about what he does for the organization. I was not big on bringing Ozzie back, but that turned out to be a great deal! Nice Job Kenny, this Bud's for you Mr. GM man

    Brad Stuart needs to stay!

2nd this notion. What a monsterous defense we would have, our 3rd pairing would be some combo of lebda, lils, quincy, cheli, ericksonn, or kindl. That would be just sick

Rank The Red Wings Stanley Cups

1997- Seeing us dominate the Flyers was fun especially after all the recent heartbreak at the time 1998- great to see after the limited amount of time I got to celebrate the Stanley Cup the year before 2008- Great to see Lids win as Captain, Z dominate Crosby, and Drake get the Cup 2002- After the singings of Hull & Luc with the trade for Hasek, I was kind of expecting the Cup the whole season. I know I shouldn't have had that mind set, but it was hard not to

    C-R-O-W

I never trusted Ozzie in his early years, but this year has been a complete turn around. I have also been hard on Lils and Sammy, but both played solid during the run. Sammy was one of our top forwards in the finals. I really don't want to think about next year, just want to take the rest of the summer to enjoy this one. I wish I was in Hockeytown to celebrate, but I do enjoy celebrating in front of Blues fans

    Thank you, Matt

Thank you from everyone in St. Louis, well at least me. Love this site almost as much as hockey and the Red Wings. Time to spend $300 plus dollars on merchandise

    To the Penguins fans.....

Congrats to Pens fans the future looks bright for you guys. I wouldn't mind seeing somemore Wings vs Pens finals. I was almost wanting a game 7 just to see more hockey, but then realized that you guys would be too dangerous in a game seven

    An amazing year...

I would have to put up with all of these non-hockey people (Blues fans) all year. everyone wanted to call and let me know the Wings lost in OT. St. Louis fans are the worst, they haven't watched hockey since the lockout and once my team loses they all act as if the pens were their team all along
  22. ehorn3

Getting a little nervous, Detroit fans?

We completely out played the pens, why would I worry about one loss. You guys still need two to win and we only need one. Besides Our boys love to celebrate on their victims ice
  23. ehorn3

    Dear Franzen

Lay off the Mule without him we are not at this point. Once again Thank you Franzen for the OT winner in game five of round one, and the other 13 goals.

    Doubters: Sign Up Here

This thread is lazy and it sucks. Wings in 6, just look too dominate for the Pens to keep getting the bounces
