St. Louis bleeding red Where are the St Louis Red Wings fans? Everytime I go to a Blues game its almost always 50-50 Wings -Blues jerseys.

Fans in St. Louis will chant "Detroit Sucks" over and over again everytime I go to a Red Wings/Blues game. They have even done it at non Wings games. St. Louis loves to hate the Wings, well at least most fans. I never play hockey, watch hockey, or go to a hockey game without wearing something Red Wings so everywhere I go in St. Louis I'm wearing Red. I wore my Lids Jersey to my work at the start of the playoffs last year and some guy thought it was an old Cardinals player.

He's the reason the Wings were trade deadline losers. So like Dallas27 said he is lazy and sucks. Why couldn't we get a big time player to come in and score goals. side note Ducks deadline trade was Brad May who wound up fitting in real well during the playoffs Stuart will dominate in the playoffs

Just so all of you know. I have personally talked to Holland. He has assured me that Stuart was the laziest sucking defenseman that he could afford at the deadline. (Krupp would not come out of retirement either because he is too loyal to Ave's fans). The reason he traded for Stuart is because Holland felt that if there was a leash on Stuart, Red Wings fans would divert their attention to how lazy Brad is instead of noticing how horrible Sammy is. I'm with NFM, let's start a thread for every player and just bash each of them. I have players that bother me, but damn if we don't complain daily about these guys. I wonder if we can go back to 01-02 and see who we bashed then. Every team has players that really shouldn't be in the NHL. We still have the top team in the NHL and hopefully the injuries will be blessings in disguise by building our playoff depth. Let's give these guys a break and start rooting for them instead of bashing them

Right now I have my living room looking like a locker room, I have my plain home jersey, home and away Yzermans, Lids away, and Shanahan jersey turned so the winged wheel is showing just hanging in my living room. I started this at the beginning of December to add some Christmas color, also my roommate is a huge Blues fan, but it has worked pretty well this month. I also have to watch the game wearing at least three things that has the Red Wings on it. I broke this rule against the Blues on the 20th and paid for it with the only regulation loss in December. Every game day if I have to work I wear a red tie. Side note; I've been to two Wings/blues games this year in St. Louis and the first time it was like the blues just won the Stanley Cup. I never saw such sore winners before. Everyone that walked by me had to yell "Detroit Sucks" or "f*** Da Red Wings", there was even a little 10 year old kid who was getting harrassed by some drunk fans because he was wearing a Zetterberg jersey. Completely classless in their 4-3 win. Then this Thursday I didn't hear a word after the Wings dominated without two of their top scorers and I was surrounded by blues fans. St. Louis fans need to stick to a sport they know like baseball

You guys have no idea how much living in Saint Louis sucks trying to watch hockey games. our local NBC affliate picked up sunday afternoon Cardinal games, so anytime there is a Sunday afternoon hockey game I have to listen to NHL radio. It sounds like we have not been playing very well so far.
