I was reading an article about Perry, and as it turns out he is able to see the future. This is a proven fact. Also in the press conference after the game he gave his explaination of the comments made to Pavel, "I just wanted him to know that him, Sammy, and the rest of the Red Wings would be enjoying a day each with the cup. That is all, I did mean it in a negative way" just so everyone know I made all of this up, but this is my theory as to what it was

I think the wings wanted it more, while we took more penalties, turned the puck over more, had fewer shots and scoring chances. We played with more determination than the ducks. We killed the penalties we had to, when we turned the puck over we fought hard to get it back, we took advantage of our scoring chances. Yeah we did get some help on our goals, but JSG got lucky Zetterburg hit the post on that beautiful feed from the point. So I'm tired of hearing how we were outplayed and lucky. You don't win 9 games in the Stanley Cup playoffs relying on luck. LET'S GO RED WINGS

I live in Saint Louis and Blues fans don't even consider us a rival anymore, not since the lockout. The Blues have been fighting with the Blue Jackets and Blackhawks for the worst team in the division. Nashville is our biggest rival now. I hate everything about Nashville. I still cannot for the life of me understand why anyone thought hiring Bettman was a good idea Raise your hand if you hate Bettman.............................

Hands down Lidstrom. We would have lost to the Sharks if Lidstrom was out. He was our MVP. Hasek played well, but he did not have that many shots. Dats played a strong series, but not as consistant as Lids. Nick shut down there top line the final two games and limited a lot of scoring chances the first couple games of the series. I think he was more of a reason we were able to come back in three of our wins. Everyone in our line up stepped up there game though. Flip, Lilja, Sammy, Lang, Bert, Franzen, and I loved watching Malts Draper and Cleary play on the same line. I believe that line will be the difference in the Conference Finals

Keep this playoff hockey going and it's going to be tough for any of the remaining teams to beat us in a seven game series. I just hope Bert keeps improving, seems like every game he's getting better. Wings take out Ducks in 6 then beat Buffalo in 7

I have always like Mean Joey T, now I know why, I just wish he stayed in Boston or came to Detroit. I hope that he is done scoring in this years playoffs. We don't need him to keep up this pace. Let's Go RED WINGS!!!!

Wings win game 5 4-2, Flames win game 6 2-1, then game seven will go to 2 overtime periods before Lilja steals the puck from Thornton at center ice, skates in to dump the puck at the blue line and scores right above Nabbys should to win the series. Then we go on to dominate the Ducks. You all heard it here first

We're getting way too head of ourselves here for this year, Wings have only played two games Anyway I have no idea who would be a good canidate since we are not even close to winning the Cup right now

I have lived in St. Louis all my life. My dad use to park cars at the old Arena. I would go with him sometimes as a little kid and watch the Blues play. One night the Blues had a promotion of the kids 18 and under got a replica jersey. My dad knew I wanted one so I went with him to the game and was able to get in for free after the 2nd period started. There was almost no one there and they had boxes of jersey still to give out, but they would not give me a jersey because I did not pay admission. I finally had to get my first hockey jersey from one of my friends. I traded him a Matt Leblanc rookie card, a Shanahan card, and an Adam Oats card for a hockey jersey. So for about three months I wore the jersey having no idea what the team was. Finally while watching one of the Blues games I saw my jersey, ran put it on during the game and have loved the Wings since. I thank God my first hockey jersey was not a Blues. My life would be much worse right now. I have 2 Yzerman, Lidstrom, Shanahan, Fedorov, and two blank jersey's now. I am planning on getting a Dats and Zetts jerseys. Anyway that is how I became a Red Wings fan.

I can tell you first hand that the Blues fans hate the Red Wings because of all the playoff loses in the mid-90's. Most of my friends here in St. Louis hate how the Wings constantly get better. We grabbed two of their favorite players and turned them into champions and one of the most hated defensemen in Blues history (Chelios). Every offseason before the cap I would always hear about how the Red Wings keep getting all the good free agents. Their hate does not stem from just one thing but many things. I personally attribute a good majority to the Yzerman goal because he stole the puck from the Great One (which he only played for a half a season with the Blues) and crushed all of their hopes and dreams. I can still remember reading the news papers before that game 7, all of them thought the Blues had us beat. One of the headlines read "Dead Wings" Overall The Red Wings organization is just head and shoulders above the Blues and that is what really gets to Blues fans.
