They were saying Z slots in as #1...I donno about that. I bet Pav stays as the #1 C.
-
I'd rather have Ferarro or Callahan in than Andersson, but yeah this looks pretty nice.
-
I still feel like Vermette would have been a better option. I'm guessing he's gonna be way more expensive and want longer term though.

signed Red Wings sign D Mike Green (3-years, $18-million)

His number in DC, 52, after we trade Ericsson and some forwards. -
I've been seeing Shattenkirk and Yandle supposedly on the block. I know Shattenkirk's agent says it wasn't true, but of course he's going to say that.
-
If this happens you have to think there are some trades happening. Wouldn't be a bad signing depending on the money.

I think I'd rather trade E and Kindl, give Smith another year or two to figure it out. -

I like it! -
Pouliot isn't bad either. Other than those two they aren't much.
-
Probably a lot less than we think. Although I'm sure if Kenny inquires about it they're going to ask a lot more. It's like a league wide agreement to bf the Wings in trade negotiations.
-
Not sure if anyone else heard on NHL.com live, but they reported Yandle is supposedly on the trade block.

Never been to Calgary, but Boston is absolutely amazing. If it wasn't so expensive to live there, I'd move there in a second. Can't imagine why a young wealthy guy wouldn't want to live there. Must be something within the team that made him want to leave, if that is the case.

Holland doesn't expect to be busy this offseason

Not surprised one bit, but still disappointing. Standing pat when making first round exits is not okay. All other teams are constantly aiming to improve any way they can. Wings have more prospects than they can keep, why not use some to bring in a quality player? More teams are passing the Wings up because they're willing to take chances and make moves. At least find someone to dump Weiss on. I'd even be happy with that and clearing space. -
Oh they were my favorite jerseys as a kid. I loved them. I still have a soft spot for them, so I really want them to stay in Arizona. I was excited to hear they were getting new jerseys and definitely thought they were going back. I'd even settle for that theme and keep the new colors, just to mesh new and old. The black sleeves thing just looks dumb.

A guy from the Korean National team..wow. Didn't even know they had a hockey program!
-
I was hoping they'd go back to the kachina jerseys. Loved those unis. These ones, not so much. Just as long as they aren't another Canadian team!

This emoji always reminds me of this

Looking ahead to expansion draft ... If Vegas comes to the nhl etc
BadgerBob replied to nyqvististhefuture's topic in General
I'd agree with this. Vegas seems like a cheap gimmick and they're going to have some incredibly corny name too. -
For Chicago's sake, I think it would have been absolutely hilarious if the cap went down.
-
Really wish the Wings could've snagged Leddy from Chicago last year. That kid is great at skating the puck up the ice.
-
Joakim Andersson...on the 3rd line?? Where's Jurco?
-
In this deep of a draft I definitely don't want a 1st round pick involving Phaneuf. Honestly I really hope the Wings don't trade for him at all because I think what it'd take to get him wouldn't be worth it. Don't need to do a division "rival" any favors.
-
Yeah I know, most of the time I found it hilarious. Especially when he was "screening" Brodeur and then comes back down on the next offensive possession and scores a goal.
-
Read this yesterday. Really good article. I think I'm one of the few who actually enjoyed Sean Avery on the ice. Glad to see he's transitioning well into a second career, it doesn't sound easy.

Maybe put them in a location in Phoenix that doesn't suck to get to? Anything I've heard from people I know that live there is no one goes to the games because a lot of them start close to rush hour and that rink is a huge pain in the ass to get to.
