No. Way.

Minnesota is real big on keeping their "good ol Minnesota kids" in the state. It's insanely obnoxious. They sacrifice getting high end talent elsewhere, especially in college hockey, and it hasn't paid off at either level. I don't care where the guy is from, if he's better than anything else available I'd want him on my team.

I think the Panthers should move before the NHL adds any more teams. They're always near the bottom in attendance and moving them to the west would even the conferences up.

You don't want Boyle, who in his worst year he still had more points than any of those guys at the bottom have ever had in their careers. Other than maybe Gilbert I wouldn't want any of those guys. Stralman has never played a full season and only came close once. The other guys don't put up much for points either. I'd rather go with kids if we're gonna have stats that low, at least they'd be cheaper. I just don't see how any of those guys would make us a better team. Niskanen may not be a number one but I'd rather have a bunch of 2's and 3's than a bunch of 3's and 4's.

Wasn't offended, just curious who you thought would be traded for each guy. I feel like that's a lot for Blake Wheeler though.

So how are we acquiring a roster like this? Who do you give up for Burns and Wheeler??

I'd be willing to part ways with anyone on the team except the following: Pav, Hank, Tatar, Nyquist, Kronwall, Dekeyser, and Jurco. Unless we are getting someone like Giroux or Stamkos I'd be pretty pissed if any of them left.

Being a bottom feeder and collecting top pick players for x amount of years is becoming a pattern of success, doesn't exactly equate great coaching. Babcock got just as far this year with much less talent.

Why? They have four guys picked in the top 5 of first rounds, they should be doing well. They made it just as far as we did losing to, in my opinion, a lesser team than who we lost to. Babcock led a team with 421 man games lost to injury into the playoffs and lost to the first seed. I don't think he necessarily has it locked up.

No way San Jose gives him up. Marleau and Thornton are 34. I think he's someone they're going to look to be the leader once those two are gone. The trade would have to be heavily in their favor for them to actually do it.

Not a fan of Quick or Brown and I love me some Sharks so I'll be rooting for them to win the West, even though they have a habit of choking.
