Add Quincey to that list, some team has to be desperate enough to take him late in the season to make a push -
I definitely hope it isn't that bad, but if he were never to be able to play again how would that impact the Wings financially? Could they do the same thing the Flyers do with Pronger and keep him on LTIR as opposed to him retiring? Either way I just hope he's healthy enough to not ever go through what Pronger does.

I would hope we get some someone with some size and scoring ability, and a top 4 defenseman. I've always like Callahan, and I think he'd do well here, but I'm not banking on getting him. Like dirtydangles said, just please get rid of the dusty old farts and Quincey, anything after that this off season is a bonus.

200 lbs at 5'11"? Pretty solid frame on the guy. Not sure where they'd play him in the line up but at least give him a chance!

Weiss had a modified NTC and a NMC. Not quite sure what a modified NTC is, but my guess is he'd have to provide a list of teams. I donno if they're gonna get much value for the guy considering what his past year and a half has looked like, especially for how much he's making right now.

Long time coming, this guy never should have returned here. After what he did to avoid being bought out in the off season I doubt he retires. Just wish he'd realize the dream is over and have some class and call it a career right now. That'd be the most help he'd provide this team since he signed.

Wow can't believe I forgot him. Must have been too late for me. I'd like a roster like this: Nyquist Pav Alfie Hank Helm Abs Jurco Sheahan Tatar Eaves Glendenning Bert Cleary Sammy Miller (I'd rather keep Eaves and trade Miller, just my preference of the two). Problem is when Franzen and Weiss come back they gotta make room for them too. Not sure how to go about doing that.

I think this idea has been tossed around somewhere else on the forum, but I saw this on SI.com's truth & rumors section, multiple sources are saying the Sabres are looking to deal Moulson by the deadline. http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/410852-sharp-shooting-moulson-on-the-block-again?eref=sihp I'm not sure what it would take to realistically get this guy, but I think he'd be a good fit here and could help us out.

I would be pretty surprised if we'd get that good of a pick for Quiincey. The guy can't be paired with anyone on this team, makes stupid mental mistakes and hasn't produced anything. I'd love for it to happen though!

If I'm an athlete (especially from the western hemisphere), there is no chance I go over there with all that has transpired in the past month or so. Who knows how reliable their anti terror forces are over there. It might be harder for certain sports like swimming, bobsled, and curling where this is their main event, but I don't see how it's worth taking the chance.

Our leading goal scorers totals since 2008: 2013 (shortened season): Datsyuk, 15 2011-12: Franzen 29 2010-11: Franzen 28 2009-10: Datsyuk 27 2008-09: Hossa 40 08-09 there were also 3 other guys with more than 30 goals. I don't think you can have an elite team when your leading goal scorer for the season can't even crack 30. We need someone who can score at least 40, and I think it would help others around them. -

Yes. This guy. I really like the Coyotes, even when we were in their conference. I would love to have him on the Wings and it wouldn't break the bank in order to get him!
