I love how these draft sites know more than nhl scouts or gms. Yes some have contacts but their draft projections in later rounds are nothing more than pure guesses. Enough on past year let's move on.We have a gluten of prospects. My first move playing amature couch gm would be to package Callahan, Ferraro, or Almquist and our 1st to move up to get Nicolaj Rulers. If that isn't possible I would prefer to trade and load up picks for next year. Virtanen, or Karlsson at 15ish wouldn't be bad either. I personally don't like Tuch as much as some. He is a 4th line grinding type with a good shot. We have those in spades. If you want Mantha #2 you would have to take him in the 2nd. Also Kemke would be a steal in the 2nd hopefully he will be available. As always well done Rich, and thanks for starting this discussion.

Replacing those guys will have to be done by committee. Outside of Jurco and Mantha there are no other top tier guys. There are however a lot of guys that are going to be great additions and add quality depth which we have been lacking. Tatar, Nyquist, Sheahan, and our D prospects grade out very highly.Most of these prospects aren't going to reach expectations, but with past history of drafting a few should develop to form the next core of the franchise.

Jurco is going to be very good, and I wouldn't sleep on Pulks yet. His skating and two way game has improved. I'm not trying to say he is the next stud but a defensively responsible Michael Ryder type would be a great addition to the bottom 6.

I could see Karlsson as a member of the wings, but my "wishlist" #1 is Nikolaj Ehlers. Think Helm with hands, and a great shot.

Smaller, it's a fact that many member join for trade, free agent, or draft discussion. But that's cool there is something for everyone like at a Thai massage parlor...

I hope Big E, Bert, or Smitty runs that dirtbag the first opportunity on Sunday.

Jarnkrok was our best prospect up to the point of Mantha being drafted. That is not just my opinion btw. I would not be surprised to see him in GR at some point this year.
