One more thing before I go to bed. Sharks were down 2-0 at home in game 2. Did they "lose interest?" Did they give up? No, they came back and won. Why? Because they're a great team and they have the players that are getting it done right now. Players that are in their prime and are hungry as hell to win a cup. I think sometimes we get too caught up in being the "Detroit Red Wings" and not looking at the current product we have on the ice. I know we don't have Zetterberg and Ericsson right now and maybe if they were playing it would make a difference but this team just isn't good enough right now and that's the sad truth. Just gotta hope the Wings come out and tie it up on Thursday. Goodnight all.

You've gotta be kidding me?! Are you on the team? Were you on the bench next to the players? That's your opinion, that's not a fact. The Wings got outplayed, had nothing to do with Howard. They came out flat at home in a HUGE game. The players didn't get it done. Don't you realize that Boston is just the better team? Especially without guys like Zetterberg and Ericsson.

I get it I guess. When your team loses you have to pick someone to blame and it's easy to pick the goalie because he's the one that lets in the goals. When you're a team that's worthy of winning the cup you can overcome an EARLY two goal deficit in a playoff game. It was an early lead for Boston and the Wings could have came back. It wasn't like the game was super tight and Boston scored two late goals. Usually early leads end up coming back to bite you but in this case it didn't for Boston. We just don't have it and these last two games showed that. But like I said, I'm not surprised one bit. Injuries or not, there's a reason we just squeaked in the playoffs.

Man, people blaming Howard is unbelievable. It makes me wonder if you guys are real hockey fans. When you score ZERO goals do you expect to win? So Howard is supposed to make EVERY stop until the Red Wings score? LoL. I thought Howard finished strong. Wings didn't have ANY puck luck today and NOTHING went their way. The post by Helm was huge, if that goes in, it's a different game. Wings looked like s*** yes, but it's still only 2-1. Do I think the Wings will win? No, but it's far from over. They have to find a way to score.

I actually feel kind of stupid for thinking the Wings could probably win this series after the first game. I picked the Bruins anyway so I'm not shocked. You knew the Wings had inconsistencies all year long. Bruins are just the better team and the funny thing that I noticed is it doesn't even look like they're trying that hard. We're definitely missing Zetterberg though.

If it wasn't for that apparent "flu bug" that hit Boston we could be Tampa right about now.

Wow!! What a win! My brother, father and I screamed at the top of our lungs when Datsyuk scored. What an amazing move by Pav, guy is unreal. Now ALL the pressure in on Boston in game 2. We took 4 out of 5 this year against Boston, we seem to kind of have their number. What a game.

Ok, I didn't really know this. I honestly don't know any Blues fan nor have I ever been to St. Louis so I would have no idea.

You do realize Zetterberg was a beast in that series? He won't be available for round 1. Pretty much only reason I'm picking the Bruins is because we don't have Z or E. If we did, the Wings could probably win this series.

Hate to say it but my prediction is Bruins in 6, maybe 5. No Zetterberg or Ericsson, going to favor Boston. Our defense is a mess and Howard isn't better than Rask. And of course anything can happen and I hope to God I'm wrong but I just don't see the Wings winning this one.
