Howard or whoever is in net is going to pretty much have to 'steal' games for us to make the playoffs. With our shaky defense, no lead is safe.

I agree with this. I didn't expect to beat Toronto and I sure as hell don't expect to beat Pittsburgh. I think their forwards will be too much to contain tonight. I'm expecting them to score 5-6 goals. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

He's an unrestricted FA this summer and I think he could be a pretty good pick up. 27 years old, a RIGHT handed shot and he's having a pretty good so far. He's scored 10 goals (counting the game today) and 29 assists. He's making 2.3 a year right now and he's definitely going to get a raise. Just thought he could be a good addition.

Yea this season is done for me with Ericsson news. I can't even explain what has happened this year. It's mind boggling. I'm putting these injuries up there with the missing Malaysian airplane. I can watch not expecting anything and just hopefully they can retool in the summer somehow. Tigers season opener is right around the corner.

I thought it was kind of embarrassing to see so many Leafs fans there. I mean I know there are even a lot of Leafs fans in Windsor and it's so close but tonight was brutal. I'm just assuming they bought these tickets way in advance. And tickets here are way cheaper than in Toronto so that could be a big factor as well. But I thought tonight was ridiculous. I have absolutely no anger or any type of emotion anymore. This season is a complete disaster and I don't expect them to make the playoffs. Rest the stars and just get ready for the beginning of 2014.

Yeah good point, he is playing for a contract. And he is definitely going to get a raise. I can see a team shelling out 4-5 million for him but 5 could be an overpayment. He could probably be forming into someone that can be a real steady/reliable d-man. I just think we're pretty wealthy and at the forward position IF we can stay healthy next year. It's the defense that could use the help.

And no help from the Stars. They lost to the Jackets. Not looking good.

Yeah, I actually noticed that. We're definitely going to need some help. Their next five games are pretty tough but four out of five are at home.
