Chicago looks unbeatable right now. Yeah they took a little beating in Toronto the other night but I'm talking about a 7 game series. If they stay healthy I really don't see anyone beating them. It would be their 3rd cup in 4 years. It took Detroit 9 years to win four. I would hate to see them win again honestly. They can score at will, great defense, they have guys that will fight and Crawford (I know he's injured at the moment) is super solid in net. They look unbeatable when they're playing their best. Thoughts?

Jesus Christ some of you people are comical. Now Mike Ilitch is being brought into the conversation? What the hell is Ilitch supposed to do? Magically heal all of our injured players? I'm as frustrated as everyone but you know the Wings have EIGHT REGULARS out of the line up. NO team would be the same if that happened to them. Anaheim is fully healthy and they've been playing great all year, did you really expect a different outcome? If this was happening with everyone in the line up then you hit the panic button. I'm already to the point where I really don't care until this team gets 100% back to normal.

2008 = Lidstrom was still playing and we had Rafalski and Stuart on the blue line. Zetterberg and Datsyuk were SIX years younger. Franzen came out of NOWHERE and teams weren't ready for that. Osgood stole the show in net. Totally different from 2008. But you can't say without the injuries we'd still be this bad, no way. I'm to the point now where I don't even care what happens until this team is at 100%. We were starting to find a little groove there before all the injuries hit. I'm frustrated just like everyone else but you can't expect to perform at your highest level when your best players are missing.

I'm just speechless. All the injuries, bad calls, bad bounces, NOTHING is going right. We're a punching bag for teams right now. TWO wins at home in the last 19 games, that's amazing. I'm at the point where I don't even care until the team is fully healthy.

Yeah I agree, this guy's a nightmare. He makes it look easy. Did you see him in the shootout the last game? He didn't even budge when he was in net. Red Wings are horrible right now, I don't think I've ever seen anything like this.

I don't give a f*** how much it slows the game down, we need some kind of challenges in the NHL. You just can't take a good goal from teams like that. Unbelievable.

Helm is shooting for the 28th? What the hell? Didn't say it wasn't a big deal and he'd be out there in a week? Wow.

I'm not expecting a win tonight but you never know. And what the hell is going on with Helm? I thought he would've been back by now.

I knew he was going to get a big suspension. I was telling people he should at least get 10 games. You can't do that to a guy. I don't think it was too much.

I know we all can do without Cleary and Sammy but I'm over the Todd Bertuzzi experiment as well. He would not even be on some teams third line. I just can't with him anymore.

We have set a new NHL record ladies and gentlemen. How pathetic have we been lately? The lack of scoring is painful to watch. This team cannot generate any offense. And these PP's have been brutal.

LoL. I just noticed we had three more games against the Panthers. I'm pretty happy about that because I don't know why I thought those were the only two games we had against them. Still not used to this eastern schedule I guess.

I don't think Zetterberg even comes back for the Winter Classic.
