This is going to go down as one of the most epic meltdowns in Detroit sports history.

Ugh. I hate to say this but I just don't have a good feeling. God, I hope I'm wrong, I really do. I just think we squandered our chance at winning this series. Chicago wins tonight. But let's hope we get a total 6o minute effort and I'm totallyf****** wrong. Go Wings!

Just makes me realize it would have been too good to be true if we would have beat the Hawks in 5 games. Not over but doesn't look good either.

I think their fans are no different than Wings fans. If the Wings were in the same situation this city would be in panic mode as well. When you were as good as the Blackhawks were all season they think they're entitled to their wins. Just like when we got knocked out in the early rounds in previous years. We thought "Oh, we're gonna win, we're good. We're the Red Wings". I unfortunately missed the interview with Dan Mcneils but I'm listening and maybe might even call in if they get into heavy Wings/Hawks talk.

Ok I wanted to make a separate post about this but I won't. What do you guys think about the hit on Franzen? I think it definitely should have been called. The refs call that and Kane doesn't score. And these Blackhawks fans would shut up about the bad reffing. Thoughts?

I'd really be surprised if this series goes past 5 games. They're just clearly better than us. Just gotta give credit where its due. No way Detroit is winning this series. Have a goodnight all.

Wow! One of the worst playoff periods I've seen in a while. I mean Chicago didn't score but they spend the whole damn period in our zone. And I know everyone's talking about it but damn is Smith playing horrible. Ugh, I wish we still had Dekeyser. Such a bad ******* break for us. Oh well, this game is still winnable. Stealing game 1 would be big.

Gosh, I hate to say it but it just looks like the Ducks have everything going their way. I just don't see the Wings winning this. I really hope I'm wrong. But I know I'm not the ONLY one here that knew the Ducks were going to tie it up after they got that second goal. One of the biggest meltdowns I've ever seen. I can't believe I'm even typing this right now.

But whatever, I remember being bummed out when he went down. Healthy teams are always the ones that win and go far. I think it's a big blow for our team.
