Before the wheels fall off n everyone starts arguing again, whats the quarterfinal matchup schedule? Sweden vs Slovenia Russia vs Finland USA vs Czech/Slovakia Can vs Switz/Latvia Is that correct? Im not sure. A semifinal of Russia vs Sweden and US vs Can would be the most conflicted set of matchups. Brace yourselves. -

This is the greatest thing ive seen in a while. He embodies the USA. Look at those cheeks. And BottleofSmoke im fimiliar with the Leo Strut and whole-heartedly second the notion to create a Babs Strut. Walking with the Beatles, or in the trenches of WWII, perhaps ontop of an erupting volcano? Definitely with a bench of laughing hudlers yelling at him as he strolls by...ah yeah, thatll do nicely. -

Its no secret that im the furthest thing from a team Canada fan (not because of the country i just really dont like a single one of their players), but man...I really thought theyd be better this tourney. They honestly look awful today as they have in every game ive watched em play. I may not like em, but i really expected and feared more. -

I feel their goaltending will let them down. Especially in a tournament this short. Im not dismissing them though. How is medaling dismissing them? If sweden loses Z then id say Canada for Silver, but i believe this is USA's year for gold. A nearly perfect team. -

Wokeup early just to watch! Russias offensive firepower is blinding. And team USA looks better than Slovakia but honestly not by that much. Fairly even game so far. Also, Pasha appears to be still skating on one leg. Very worrisome for the rest of our season. -

I know this is kindof stating the obvious but DAMN...what I wouldnt give for a Karlsson/Ekman-Larsson type guy on the Wings blue line... Really missin ol Nick Lidstrom watching Swedens offensive d-men win that game. -
