I recommend everyone check out The Production Line's (@TPLhockey) latest twitter post regarding red wing injuries among cup contenders the last 4 years. They put together a graph showing just how injury riddled the wings have been this year and in years past. The numbers seem to be quite a bit higher than BOS, LAK, CHI and even the NHL average. I really am starting to believe the clubs training staff and or practicing too much is killing any hopes of us competing with a full squad. Idk its worth a look because it really made me think. Also if anyone could just find said photo and post it in a response to my post would really help others see what I mean.

I think the lines thatll really break this scoring slump are as follows: Jurco Z Abby Nyquist Sheahan Tatar Miller Emdog Bert Eaves Glend Cleary PP 1: Jurco Z Tatar Kronner Eaves PP 2: Nyquist Sheahan Abby Deke Smith That is a young but highly skilled top 6 with so much speed and energy itd b hard not to score a couple. And for the PPs its just stacking the scorers as best we can, unlike Babs and his cleary sammy bert nonsense.

If we dont win on saturday we may very well find ourselves in 13th place in the East. Please hockey gods grant us a win.

This is the unfortunate truth we are faced with. To everyone whos been saying "not to panic, we'll make the playoffs we always do, etc etc.." Now is the perfect time to panic. Soon is the time to accept that the Red Wings were all used to are gone. Im really not just being pessimistic. I truly do not believe things are going to just magically take a turn for the best.

Were 6th out of 8 in our division (in front of only FLA and BUF). And 10th out of 16 in the East (possibly 11th before the night ends). And our upcoming schedule is absolute hell. If we even do get healthy at some point after the olympics, which i highly doubt, were gonna be so far out of playoff contention it wont matter.

Just 5 wins in 14 games. Not good enough to make the playoffs in any division.

Our injuries have riddled us useless and sinking lower in the standings.
