Babs obsession with cleary makes me want to rip my hair out. Hes the most useless godawful waste of salary/roster space ive ever seen. Hands down the worst player in the NHL. Hmm according to mlive, miller n cleary (hockey jesus) are swapped. Cleary 3rd line Miller 4th. This is a surprisingly safe assumption to make.

Everything about this is 100% correct. Tatar is OBVIOUSLY a very skilled and gifted player. IMHO Under proper circumstances he could really excel in this league.

The article Dabura posted says it all. Tatar makes this team and everyone he plays with better. He needs more ice time to continue to develop and gain experience/confidence. Id much rather his speed and ability to make things happen be on the 2nd line than franzen (who i believes career is over). When Weiss is back id like to see lines 2 and 3 look something like: Tatar-Weiss-Alfie Mule-Helm-Abby

Does anyone else think that Z n Dats will be the only ones producing steady scoring this season? They seem to be embracing the workload quite well.

Hypothetically speaking, lets say monster wins us back to back games fri n sat to improve to 5-0. Then what? Does he takeover as #1? Do we start switching more often kindof like Chicago did with emery/crawford last season? Im just trying to wrap my head around what happens when a backup clearly outplays the #1.

Heres to hoping monster gets the start. The caps will eat Jimmy for lunch. Really have more faith in monster than Jimmy thus far this season.

Pavs needs to hit the damn net in shootouts. Brilliant game, but his leadoff shootout attempts this year have missed the net entirely, more times than not.

Why am i seemingly the only one who thinks jimmy is really underperforming this year? He hasnt solen anything for us this year. Always giving up fluke goals, always getting outperformed by other goalies, always collapsing under pressure in late period/games/OT, never clutch when we REALLY need him to be. Obviously our defense isnt the best but more times than not it never is for any team. An ELITE goaltender doesnt need a list of excuses/scapegoats for why he lost. He simply wins games. Low scoring or not. Jimmy's GAA/SV% comparitive to other goalies, most of which arent even #1's is atrocious. He is not the future of this hockey club, fat contract to make him look better on paper or not. /end rant.
