I think its all bulls***. If its a real injury theyd just say so. My moneys on babs sitting him for either thinking hes the s*** when he sucks (believes hes playing well) or to see how the team does without him, in the event of making sure a trade for a dman wont hurt us offensively. Just my theory. -
Preseason the GDTs were up at midnight day of game. Everyone was eager, the excitement seems to have died down n now weve taken to make em simply bcuz they dont show up all day :/Also im hoping the boys come out swingin tn, none of that "first home game back so were gonna suck" nonsense. Lookin for goals from Pasha, Alfie, Tatar, and for the love of god STEPHEN WEISS. 4-2 wings

Dude is so datsyukian. Absolutely nasty hands. Cant wait to watch him play, definitely our future star once Z and Dats retire. The fact that hes only 20 and already producing like a madman says enough. Excited for the future

Sortof off topic but ive been checking out Tomas Jurco n the kid looks insane. Only 2 pts behind Nyquist on the griffins. Anyone have any idea when he'll crack the lineup? Next season?

I knew id catch some gruff for ending that way, dont get me wrong im not a fan of franzen at all but by years end he shud have atleast 40 points.But i do believe once nyquist is up we will have 3 solid scoring lines even if franzen is traded for a dman. *fingers crossed*

Haha when you put it that way i agree entirely, hopefully this defenseman is of the (karlsson,subban) type and makes up for the offensive production we'd b losing giving up mule.

I dont see brendan smith being a top 4 d man anywhere in this league.

The forwards look good on paper if the 2nd line can just get the offense goin. but i think our d has been a letdown thus far. A primo d man would really help even out the kinks.

What i'd like to see come playoff time: Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Bert Alfredsson-Weiss-Franzen Nyquist-Andersson-Tatar Abdelkader-Helm-Tootoo/Miller Kronner-(top line D trade acquisition) Ericsson-Dekeyser Lashoff-Kindl Howard-Gustavsson D-man trade for any variation of Quincey/Smith/Cleary/Sammy + draft pick. To me thats a lineup capable of winning the cup. Posted in the GDT but figured it goes here.
