Tn is "hockey fights cancer" night at the joe. REALLY need a marginal victory or atleast a 3 goal effort to keep the LGW sky from falling. Also as someone previously mentioned if it is a win, or the boys are playing well, post about it! I agree that theres 50 pages when we suck, 10 when we win. BRING ON THE GOOD VIBES! Ill make my final judgement on him after christmas. As of now obviously not impressed, but not nearly as ready to write him off as i am with Cleary, Franzen, Sammy. Ill give Weiss the benefit of the doubt here based on the transition. But there is something to be said about how once guys leave (Hudler, Filpula) after playing on the team for a while theyre instantly producing more elsewhere. And guys who come in take time to get going. Does that mean the wings are better because our guys play such a high level, thus they shine elsewhere, or worse because they cant produce with what weve got? It could be either, neither or both.

I suppose youre right, i guess i just witnessed such piss poor play tonight my mind inly let me notice the things he did right, which was seemingly more than the rest of the team could say. Even Pasha was invisible tn, which i havent seen...well... ever.

I will say Tatar was by far the only one who showed up tn. Carried pucks in, drove to the net, got many shots on goal, forechecked hard, threw his weight around, battled and created many scoring chances. He tried his best to win this game by himself. If he doesnt earn a 2nd line spot or atleast, a full time roster spot then ive lost all faith in Babs n Kenny.

At the game. ******* PISSED. I want my god damn money back. Utterly infuriating.

Will be at the game tn. Really wanna see Alfie shine against his old club, wouldnt hurt to see Smith net one or atleast throw some big hits/drop the gloves . And as always a Pasha/Zetty PP goal wouldnt hurt 👍 LETS GO WINGS!

NYR are garbage, Ottowa is in shambles without alfie leading them, Calgary is a team we know and is also not having the best year. And we usually seem to fair pretty well against the canucks. Given the sedins cant produce with z amd Dats against them.

Gahh as much as it pains me to think we'd drop more than 2 of those games, youre absolutely right. We SHOULD be puttin a whoopin on all those non playoff contender teams. Gonna hope for the best!

With our top 2 D-men out, i dont have high hopes for this game. Id be surprised if we make it a game. That being said our upcoming oponnents are OTT, NYR, VAN, CAL, EDM, WINN. So even if we drop tns game and endup 6-4, those next 6 games should be wins. In a perfect world putting us at 12-4. More realistically 10-6 or 11-5.

Im usually rather positive, but then again comparing anyone to fat guy in a maltby jersey, i suppose were all positive. All things considered, a solid win against san jose will cheer everyone up!

Tonights recap from what i can tell: Smith dove, Andersson sucks defensively (still dont know what he brings), Brendan -7 Smith needs to go (regardless of how long it takes him to "develop"), Sammy should just retire/die. Refs have been getting seemingly worse not better as the season goes on. Tonights game, aside from the first 10 minutes was complete garbage.
