Jesus those prices are ridiculous, I only paid $100 for my Winter Classic tix at the big house against Tornto and I had good seats mid way up in the corner (had a great view). Has there even been an official release of the Wings jerseys yet?

Boy did that backfire. Next game I'll punish myself and have some keystone light.

It's early in the season and the Wings aren't playing all that great. If we get a nice little win streak going say 5 or 6 games I'm sure it'll pick up in here.

There's no way Helm get's resigned and even if he does it would not be for many years. With our prospects we have coming up Helm is about finished as a Red Wing. He's injury prone and has speed but no hands to go with it, his only role is as a 3rd line C and we have prospects that can fill that role as early as next season. You could bring up AA right now and insert him into Helms spot and not a single person would complain about Helm losing that spot.

Pulkkinens goals have been far from highlight reel goals and when he's not scoring he does absolutely nothing. He has no defensive two way play skill at all, if he doesn't have the puck on his stick in a scoring area he's absolutely useless.

If he doesn't resign all you're out is Helm who likely won't be resigned, Ericsson who getting rid of would be a blessing, and the only real loss is the one of Jurco or Pulkkinen both of whom have yet to show much at the NHL level.

So add in a conditional pick if he resigns with us, offer up something like this : Helm (also a contract year and from Winnipeg if I remember correctly) Ericsson Jurco/Pulkkinen Conditional draft pick That should be enough to land Buff if not it's only a few small tweaks away from being enough. I'm just picturing our top 4 if that were to ever happen: Kronwall, Byfuglien Dekeyser, Green Whoever, Whocares We have enough prospects stuck in a log jam that we can afford to make a serious run at somebody like Buff.

Isn't Byfuglien in a contract year? If he isn't close to resigning maybe Winnipeg trades him?

So when are we going to actually shoot the puck and not get outshot nearly 2 to 1 each game?

I admit I had no interest in going to that particular game, that's one I'd rather watch at home and save money not going but when the Wings announced it was Breast Cancer Awareness night and they were auctioning off the pink taped warm-up sticks during the game I went to stubhub to find some last minute seats. Came home with Sheahans warm-up stick. Had it not been a promotional night I would have had no interest in going to a Canes/Wings game.

I got my seats for yesterday through Stubhub, section 217c Row 10 for $39 a seat. Maybe because it was the Canes game lol.
