The ONE night I get off work and can watch a game I don't get to see Pulkinnen. Damn you Babcock!

Smith playing LW and Abby out for two weeks with a laceration. Wtf. The hockey gods are making us pay for the playoff streak. We must've struck a deal with the devil many many years ago. I'd say screw the playoffs and bring up the kids but the kids are already up! Lol. If we win tonight or even tie it will be nothing short of a miracle. REALLY need Franzen/Nyq/Tatar to step up tonight. Grab the bull by the horns and just hang on as long as you can boys. EDIT: If Bert can't go tonight our 4th line will most likely be... Smith-Emmerton-Ferraro.

Good lord this lineup is laughable. Who would've thought at the beginning of the season we could be playing a 3rd and 4th line of Pulk-Glendening-Miller Smith-Emmerton-Ferraro That is... atrocious. I would like to see Smith play wing tonight. Just for fun, because really how much worse can it get? Maybe Mantha's team will crap the bed in the playoffs and we can get him in for a few games of experience before the season is over. Ferraro will be the 7th Griffin to make his NHL debut this season according to the Wings website.

Thanks! Hopefully he can solidify a spot in the lineup even when Jurco comes back.

Broken foot for Andy out 2-3 weeks according to Khan. Z, Pav, Helm, Weiss, Anderrson. Most teams would kill for those guys and we can't even get them in the line up. I'm on board for bringing Pulkkinen up. Stick him on a line with Abby and Alfie. Pulk-Abby-Alfie. Let 100mph shots rain hell on opposing goalies from the 3rd line. Then you can have Alfie play point on one PP and Pulk on the other. Can you imagine a 2nd PP unit of Jurco-Sheahan-Tatar Smith-Pulkkinen SEND OUT THE KIDS!!!!

I know they have great chemistry, but they are lacking in their own zone. Not just last night but going back it seems like while they might always score the big goals, they give up their fair share of them, too. Regardless what we're doing now isn't working. At least not good enough to pull out a W.

Am I the only one who thinks it might be a good idea to break up the kid line a little bit? Seems like when they are on ice late in games they always give up goals. I feel like we need someone on that line who is more defensively responsible and has more experience playing in the bigs. Maybe take Jurco off that line and throw Abby or Alfie in there. Nyquist-Legwand-Franzen Tatar-Sheahan-Abby Alfie-Andersson-Jurco Miller-Glendening-Bert Doesn't look too bad.

My favorite non wing. Also excites me since I just moved to the Tampa area. He deserves it.
