I oppose to trading helm don't get me wrong, the only con I see is the last 2 seasons he's been hurt and hasn't done too much for us... I agree with most that say he's a top 3rd line center in the league... I mentioned this earlier but I don't really follow on many wing prospects in minors and/college/overseas.... I certainly agree with your post how us crawling into playoffs it seems we alrdy starting, I don't think we should rush our stars back from injury until everything is healed and 100% w.out high risk of reinjury.... As for the kings 8th seed, our team Is nothing like that team, quick was outstanding, unfortunately it seems Howard might be having his worst season(injuries and weak goals).. Also those Kings were way gritter and tougher than we are... I seen andersson a lot in playoffs last year and I like what I seen, glendening seemed a bit small and unexp but he's 24.... I hope everyone will be healthy by the time playoffs come Dustin Penner to Washington!!

I don't see tats as a phenomenal team guy I see him more of a diy guy sometimes it seems he tries to create too much by himself (but hey with dats out tonight let's see how the 'yoots' play) fedorov was class personified, great in both ends, especially after first few season in the league... Kesler doesn't have the same talent, hes just tougher... Kronwall isn't dirty he just doesn't give a s*** who he hits and god forbid the other team is breaking out of their zone and the winger has his head down on the boards...(ie kronwall vs voracek lolol not even funny lol) I see Bert/tootoo maybe Abby as our dirty players, Bert learned his lesson after a season suspended and almost being jailed for attempt.... As for kesler becoming a team guy on the wings, its surely possible and I can see it as long as someone holds him in check, make sure he doesn't start thinking he's bigger than the team... Well you basically make my point the odds of us winning in the playoffs with Hank coming off back surgery and dats knee, who knows what'll be of it, hopefully it can heal with rest. Are slim... I don't think and not saying we should throw the season, I'm saying trading away some our prospects for a 2nd line center/wing (i.e kesler) would be a waste for the future, they wouldnt be able to carry our team to the playoffs with all the lack of chemistry and so little time (I think like 20 games) I don't see what ya see in kesler

From the beginning on keepin filp @number9.... I forgot who said it was cuz of shortened season subban won Norris and kesler won selke, I only seen 3rd period but subban had like 3 turnovers two of which went for 2 on 1s budaj is standing upside down and brown still can't break through this season

Yea he doesn't provide too much offence but certainly +70 for the career in Ottawa, so he can be reliable at home, and I think he can tutor our young dcorp too play solid in our zone, most of them alrdy have the offensive potential (I hope) also his and Quincey salary is somewhat similar, if we bring him in Holland should be able to sign him to a 2 yr extension maybe guessing about 1.75-2.5 mil per year

Kesler is way over rated I hope I get to see Pitt overpay and get rid of some of their future, opens up chances for other teams in east.... Scott will play 4th line avg 4-5 mins on ice and 5-12 mins in pk box Honestly Ted Nolan has done a fantastic job with buffalo since coming onto a burning ship
