We were. When Howard came in, he was amazing and was talked about for rookie of the year but was too old

Why would we take out one of our best pkers for Jurco? And Franzen on the fourth would get mauled by other teams. If Franzen comes back, he should be on a line with Goose, because they had good chemistry before. Sheahan makes a great center for that because he does a lot of the gritty work, but has great vision.

That's actually a correct usage of the word, although it isn't used often.

If we had kept Fil as our 3C, we probably would have lost Sheahan already. The only reason Weiss hasn't taken over the 2C spot is that, when he was injured all last year, Sheahan stepped in and was incredible. In two years of Sheahan, I'm already happier with him then I ever was with Fil.
