This is my thoughts. Mrazek definitely has the ability to take the reins. But not quite yet. I'm hoping for the best with Howard out. -

He also was playing for Gretzky's coyotes who were absolutely terrible at the time. He may be the best goalie to never win the cup. Luongo is the only goalie that I can think of who would even compare.

Well, the 16 may be less that a few of the other goalies, but his GAA is the best of the list and his SV% is within .08 of any of them. -
I must be the only one terrified to see Mrazek starting for an extended period of time. He's got potential, but he's too aggressive and gets out of position badly. He still needs to learn the NHL game.

I've been wondering the same. I thought 5-6 weeks, but I don't remember when he even went down!

If Howard is out for a while, I really am hoping monster comes back soon. I don't really feel comfortable with Mrazek and McCollum as our pairing.

It was a lot of both that I recall. And then the whole Hasek fiasco just made things worse. In my opinion, that goalie controversy was the worst management in memory, regarding the Wings

Cujo still gets crap for 2003 and 2004, yet he was incredible. The Wings could not score on Giguere and Kipper, respectively. If I'm not mistaken, Cujo has the lowest playoff GAA in recent Wings history. But he was blamed for the losses entirely.

Ekman-Larsson will take way more than Tats. Probably Tats, Mantha, Smith and a high pick. The guy is a future star and Arizona will/should build around him. They won't trade him for anything that they can't build a competitive team around. -
Yea, and Brodeur is a god when the team only allowed 5 shots to get to him in most games and he got a lot of shutouts, but Ozzy is a bum who shouldn't make the Hall of Fame.
