I dont understand why Howard is still being played in anything other than a backup role. He's far too inconsistent. And Green at -2, Miller at -1. Not surprised. All Smith's fault. Our record with Smith out of the lineup is terrible, but keep scratching him, Blash.

We passed on PK SuSubn twice. Im not blaming any of our drafting misses on Holland. Im not giving him credit for the hits either, though. I will admit the point about him having good people around him is a credit to him is more than valid. Its a great point. I just believe he fell ass backwords into having great people around him. Devellano is widely creditex for Feds, Lids, Konstantinov, etc. Andersson is widely credited for Darlts, Z, etc. Holland has just been in the right chair for 20 years. Now that the help is almost all gone, Holland's lack of ability is sticking out like a sore thumb. The hometown discount is gone (Abby), and Holland overpays for crappy old injury prone vets on a regular basis (too many to name in the last 5 years). Ken Holland is exposed now.

Bowman leaving to go to Chicago and winning 3 cups with a team that hadnt won since WW2 whilst Holland has missed on every good UFA, continually signs bad contracts, trades prospects for crappy rentals that dont help, and doesnt play or trade players at the right time (notice how we are the ONLY team in pro sports that over-ripens) as the Red Wings get bounced early every year isnt enough to make you change your opinion or at least scratch your head and rethink it?? Let me chime in here on the "Im gonna comment on an issue i know nothing about" tip: Pulkinnen shouldn't be spearing Smith in the kidney and slashing him on his ankles if he doesnt want Smith to retaliate. Smith has already had stitches in both wrists and a lacerated kidney from previous Pulkkinen dirty cheap shots. He was like Jesus and "turned the other cheek" the first 6 times. But he finally had to retaliate. Wish these unfortunate circumstances didnt occur.

But that's his point. You do turn it your way. Smith fans see him doing more goid things than bad when given a good oportunity - aka NOT playing with Jakub Kindl. And anyone with a little bit of patience knows that each defenseman we currently have is going to make mistakes. Lidstrom glasses are really not in style with this team right now. We have a lot of guys with unrefined raw talent. When Smith has a game like he did against Carolina, ok, bench his ass. Being on the ice for 4 ga should mean you sit the next game. But that's one game. He's getting crucified around here for the terrible off night he has 2 or 3 times a season. If you lve ever played sports, you should realize that's going to happen.

Amen. And not 1 fricking consideration that Smith has had to play with the #6 his entire career, minus a few gamez with #55 in which he and the team have been stellar. The Smith hate around here bafflez me. He plays balls out and gives the most shyte out of anybody on the team. The guy is all heart, and yet people crap on him constantly. Does he need to skate away from his mistakes pretending like its not his fault like the rest of our sissyboy Swedes? Ericsson is a freaking pylon with zero offensive prowess who has coattailed Kronwall's play for years. He wont even fight for himself, let alone his teammates. Why is he not bashed consistently??
