Halak is a UFA this summer and Jimmy in 2019. Don't really want to hold on to Mrazek would rather keep Jimmy for another year teams not going anywhere any ways.

Can't see Howard being dealt to the Islanders there's been strong suggestion that Garth Snow is after Robin Lehner. Though i would do something based around Howard and Nelson.

We can't afford to trade both Nyquist and Tatar, We can replace one with Svechnikov but who do you replace the other with unless we sign either Evander Kane or James Van Riemsdyke and both cost far more then either Nyquist or Tatar.

Mike Green at $3 million either for a 2018 2nd+Prospect or 2018 2nd+2019 2nd Petr Mrazek for a 2018 4th or 5th rounder any thing just dump him David Booth for a 2019 7th rounder. Those should be pretty fair at the TDL. Well at least you can't argue with this logic.

Agree Bertuzzi at best is a 3rd or 4th line winger nothing more and he has no business being on the top line what is Blashill thinking here.

Doubt Nyquist gets moved at the trade deadline if he gets moved at all it might be at the draft, Green is definitely getting moved not sure about Mrazek unless a starter goes down and who honestly wants XO.

I'm not really sure what tool you would use have never done it like that before. But like you said the Leafs have Lupul/Horton on LTIR and they exceed the 10% threshold by quite a bit so it should affect us at all.

Yup even if the cap increases to say $80 million next summer, 10% of $80 million is $8 million and Kronwall @ $4.75 million and Franzen @ $3.985 would exceed that limit.

So Craig Custance is saying that a few team might be interested in Petr Mrazek, And Holland is willing to retain for the right offer, I'd do Mrazek at $2 million for a 2018 3rd rounder but that's just me.

That's fine but most of those players making $3.5M+ Have full NTC so unless they agree to be moved it wont happen.

According to Gary Bettman the league should generate between $4.5 billion to $5 billion that would increase the cap between $5 million to $7 million with $3 million being the very least in which is still good so a salary cap of $78 million to possibly $82 million would be pretty awesome. I would assume so if the salary cap increases to either $80 million or $82 million then yeah one would think that the floor raises also.
