You're right.

8 hours ago, Wings3:16 said:Just curious what the point of signing Jared McIsaac was...does that not burn a year or two of his entry contract when he wasn't playing with the Wings this year anyway?
No McIsaac is in juniors so no it doesn't burn any of his ELC Only if he were playing in GR.

Henrik Zetterberg hasn't officially retired, This is false. He's stated that he wont retire until after his contract is up in 3 years. Hence LTIR for Z and he still gets his $5.335 million that's left.

Agreed, Yeah i forgot that would put Mantha on his off wing. Don't really like that. But Mantha-Larkin-Zadina that would be an extremely dangerous line in the near future.

Yep and Zadina and Mantha should be those quality wingers.

Almost certainly the most infamous incident of the Cup being damage was an incident involved the 1972 Toronto Maple Leafs. The Leafs won the Cup that year
LOL....What?
Idiots try more like 1967 the last time the Leafs won the cup.

Dude Larkin isn't holding out, He's just not resigned yet. AA trained over in Switzerland last year that's a hold out.

Schmaltz is a perfect target for Carolina: a 22-year-old right-shooting centerman coming off a 51-point season. I'd say Larkin is a pretty good comparable.
The asking price for Justin Faulk was Brandon Saad and Stan Bowman said No. Schmaltz+2019 1st for Faulk Carolina is crazy.

Nice deal for Mantha, Even at 2 years $8 million would've been a steal.
27 minutes ago, F.Michael said:Me thinks Larkin will sign for nothing more than 5 years so he can test the UFA waters...$5 to $5.5 mill for 5 years seems about right.
No need for Larkin to test the UFA waters in a few year, If he can consistently put up 70 to 80 points per season. He will easily command around $8 million to $9 million per long term.

Not me individually? But any way you look at it, Mantha, Larkin, AA and Bertuzzi will come in slightly more then the $10 million you posted. Unless Larkin gives us a hometown discount of $4.5 million or so the still think it will cost us around $12 million to $13 million to lockup those 4 players unless AA is dealt.

54 minutes ago, ChristopherReevesLegs said:Assuming we trade Ouellet at the draft or this summer as the team indicated, and say it costs us roughly $10 million to lock up Larkin, Mantha, AA, and Bertuzzi, we are left with about just under $18 million in cap space. That's with really only the backup goalie spot to fill... Hicketts and Rassmussen can fill other vacancies.
So say a back up costs us $2 million, and with factoring some ELC's being added to the lineup. We have roughly $14 million to blow this summer.
Someone check my math.
Your math might be a little off here on the $10 million, Probably Larkin at $5.5 million per Mantha 3.5 million per AA $2 million per and Bertuzzi about $1.25 million per That's like $12.25 million right there. But we should still be in excellent shape this summer.

You're kidding right? Like DeKeyser or Abdelkader would ever waive for Ottawa. Love your sarcasm there any ways.
