I think WVU is a legit #2 team right now. No one wants to give them any respect but they stomped the crap out of Georgia in the Sugar Bowl and they've been unstoppable running the ball this year. They are the kind of team that has given Lloyd Carr teams fits over the years. I think WVU could take OSU right now as well. Will be interesting to see how the season plays out. I still hate the B©S

My first baseball memories are of my dad telling me of the times he played hookey from school to go watch the Tigers play in Tiger Stadium. This is cool for my dad to see his team make it to the WS. I think the Tigers will win it all, but St. Louis wont be easy if thats who they play.

They cant finish a game right now. I was at Qualcomm Sunday night. The team was up 10-0 and then put it on cruise control and San Diego smoke em 23-3 the rest of the way. They've got to finish those games out, same v Cincy a few weeks ago. No excuses for those two losses.

Guys tend to heal quick in the playoffs. Unless he has a severe pull or tear he should be back out there.

I forgot he was the 1st of 3 WR's. Thought he was the middle one. You can look at the games best WR's, and not many of them are taken that high. Larry Fitzgerald is probably the only other current WR taken that high that has panned out. Too soon to call Braylon Edwards a bust, but he hasnt shown much prior to his ACL injury.

WR's are risky 1st round picks. They would have been better to draft on defense, O-line or trade down to stockpile picks. They tried to put what they thought were marquee players around Joey without putting together an O-line. Joey needed a line more than good WR's.

Blame your FO for drafting 3 WRs in the first round. There are other positions besides WR they could and should have drafted.

Tournament or playoff. The NCAA tournament is indeed a playoff, one and done in a tournament format. D-1 football is the only NCAA sport not to have a tournament or playoff to end the season. The whole Bowl system sucks. If you can sit back and say you like the bowl system better, than you obviously dont tune in for March Madness, which is easily the most exciting sporting event every year.

No tournament to end the season, not a legit sport IMO. College football is getting the cold shoulder from me this year.

You would be surprised but receiver is actually one of our deeper positions. We've let 2 key WR's leave in each consecutive year over the past 2 with Burress and Randle El. Ward's injured hammy is tough though. Hines is our heart and soul on offense. We need him back asap. I think he'll be there for Week 1. Worst case if he missed Week 1, we play Thursday the 7th and then not again until the 18th on Monday night. Plenty of time for that hammy to heal. This for a guy who has missed 1 career game ever. Wilson is going to shock some people as our #2 receiver. He's a better "receiver" than Randle El and we have an undrafted 2nd year free agent in Nate Washington who has beat out Holmes and Reid for the #3 spot. Washington has started with Ward out. Holmes is probably behind Reid at #5 on the depth chart and Quincy Morgan is probably the #6 receiver. Doesnt matter, we need Hines back and I dont want to see this team go long without him.
