I told my wife last night that this guy (Wade) is the closest thing to MJ that I've seen. No one has done what Wade has done in terms of taking over big games in the 4th quarter like 23 used to do. In regards to the fouls, when you drive to the basket and create contact, you are going to get to the foul line. Miami did quite a bit of this. Dallas is a jump shooting team and isn't going to see the foul line as much. They will get some home cooking in Dallas from the refs though. This one is destined to go 7.

I stand corrected. If Miami goes up 3-2 they are going to have to play much better in Dallas to win the title. They played like garbage in Dallas in Games 1-2. Maybe blowing the late lead in Game 3 took some of the wind out of the Mavs sails. They were off last night

I dont think you can say Shaq is done. He certainly isnt 25 anymore. But you have to look at that stat line and realize Dallas is double AND triple teaming Shaq down low. If Shaq doesnt score within seconds of taking an entry pass, he has to kick the ball out and try to get re-positioned if they can even get him the rock back. There still is no one in the league who can stick Shaq man to man. Dallas has played an awesome series and based on what I've seen its clear they are a much better team than Miami is. Miami doesnt have the firepower to stay with Dallas. Dallas has gone on runs in every game, they just didnt put Game 3 away.

The US is coming hard in this World Cup. I expect them to make the tournament round and go far, possibly even win the whole thing. They have the pieces in place to win the Cup.

The Diesel is going for 40+ tonight. He knows how to close in style.

A healthy Shaq makes a big, big difference. I saw a 7'1" 340+ lb big man go coast TO coast on the vaunted Pistons D on the fast break. Miami needed to get beat by Detroit last year in the ECF. It helped them get to where they are now, and possibly to the NBA Finals if they can finish off their business. Also having Pat Riley coaching instead of Ron Jeremy....err Stan Van Gundy is a ridiculously good swap for the Heat. Everyone knows Riles is one of the games greatest coaches. You older Detroit fans should know that better than anyone from your battles in the 80s. Those were classic series.

Makes a difference between this year and last when Shaq and Wade are both healthy this time around. Detroit has a great championship level team, but I think by watching how they act that they were going to waltz their way to the title. Turning on their coach isnt going to win them any games. They still have to go out there and do everything they did and then some to win a series. The coach led them to a better regular season record this year....

Shaq v Dirk is going to be an excellent series to watch

Watching Monday Night RAW for the first time in years

I dont watch the NBA during the regular season. I may sneak in a game or two, but the entertainment factor for me doesnt start until after the first round of the playoffs. Detroit had a great regular season, but like the Wings, the regular season doesnt mean a thing once you get to the playoffs save for home court. They will probably go 7 with the Heat I don't officially have a "team" I root for in the NBA anymore. I root for specific players I like (Duncan, Brand, Shaq, Nash, Stoudamire). Phoenix pulled a rabbit out of the hat last night. Sure wish they had Stoudamire out there. They miss that size down low.

I didnt get to see the game, but know this, the title goes through the Diesel. He may not be the same Shaq, but if Miami goes up 2-0....the series isnt coming back to Detroit. I'm disappointed I wont get to see a SA-Mia Finals. I wanted to see Shaq v Duncan one more time. They had some battles when Shaq was in LA. Elton Brand is a ******* stud for those of you who didnt get to see any of the Clippers-Suns games. Hopefully Phoenix can take out the Mavs. I cant stand the Mavs or their owner. Gotta root for my old hometown too. Shame they dont have Stoudamire this year. This is the last chance to watch some good sports until the fall season starts back up. Gotta enjoy the last bit of hoop left

All I can say is there has been some outstanding basketball played save for the Miami-NJ series. All of the series have been real competitive. The Dallas-San Antonio and Phoenix-LA series have been dynamic. Dalls-San Antonio could easily be the NBA Finals this year with how well the two teams have played. Thats not to knock any of the other teams, thats just a reflection of the quality of basketball the series has produced IMO. Still lots of hoop to be played out

The Pistons look like another team from Detroit I know of....one that seems to CHOKE in early playoff rounds against lesser teams..... Game 6 will be huge

If the Cavs can figure out how to win in Detroit you guys are toast. So much for Sheed's guarantee..... BTW: that Dallas-San Antonio game last night was OUTSTANDING. I havent seen as good of a game as that in a LONG time. If only San Antonio could have finished the game out in regulation. They blew it big time. Looking like it might be a Shaq v Dallas Finals.....thats right. Wade is healthy this year. The east goes through Shaq

I HATE Ohio State but I wont complain about the Burgh bringing in Santonio Holmes. We drafted two burners at WR who run sub 4.4 40s. Thats just nasty with Big Ben's broken thumb healing up this offseason. We now have the complete package on offense. A homerun hitting running back. A lead blocker that always has a 1,000 yard RB. An All-Pro studded line. A franchise QB. A stud 2nd year tight end nicknamed Big Money. The Super Bowl MVP and most complete WR in the NFL. And two freaking sub 4.4 burners. Can't forget our goal line back DUUUUUUCE! Time for football to get going again

Can you imagine the success that Lendale White would have if Pitt was able to get him? Talk about a perfect fit. Can you say 20 TDs??? Wasn't there talk of the Steelers looking at Michael Robinson from PSU in a later round? Looking for the next Randal El already! I doubt they take Robinson. The QB McNeil from Texas Tech or A & M is a good slash player prospect. They might not take any QB/WR combo player and use Hines Ward in that role. Should be interesting because we dont have any huge holes to fill, mostly depth needs this year
