If UM had the balls to fire Carr and hire a coach who lets his team open up the offense they will be fine. UM got worked by a better coached team.

I really dont believe that you know much about college football. I didnt have to watch a second of the ND-UM game to know the outcome beforehand. If this doesnt show again that Coach Carr is an ultra-conservative then I dont know what will. Texas aside from their turnovers HANDLED OSU. OSU couldnt put the ball in the end zone v an undersized Texas defense. The OSU D played a damn fine game v Young, but Texas went to the air and wore the Bucks out. I guess I still dont know diddly about football eh? OSU and UM were both highly over-rated to start the season

Mr Buckeye I am a huge college football fan. But I have to draw the line refuse to watch a sport that does not crown a true champion. The BCS and the bowl game deal is the biggest scam in sports. Texas is going to run right over OSU. It will be especially sweet for them to do it in C-Bus. I'll have to eat crow if OSU pulls out a W. Hopefully for Texas they have neutral conference refs. Michigan will get out coached by a man who orchestrated 3 of the last 4 Super Bowl wins calling the plays in NE. People will see this year why NE was so good in the clutch. They have great coaching on the offensive and defensive side of things, not any more though. ND with a pro offense is going to be tough to stop. I cant put my trust in Lloyd Carr of all people to pull out a big win. Too conservative of a coach and he doesnt have a killer instinct to put games away. This coming from a MICHIGAN fan whose dad played basketball at Michigan!

On the Bonds thing: There is zero evidence that proves concretely Bonds ever once took steroids. Bonds says himself he never knowingly did it, and used what he was told was an arthritis medicine provided to him by his trainer that does match the description of 'the creme.' Without concrete proof, they CAN'T do anything. If they tried to ban Bonds and he had a test done by an independent lab that showed he was not on steroids...that could be a major lawsuit. And besides...Bonds has been rehabbing his knee all year anyway. Why don't you pick on Raffi 'I don't never did steroids' Palmeiro? He tested positive after being named in Canseco's book and questioned by Congress. You'd think he'd have gotten the message. Maybe he just shot up TOO much and his body produces at that level now. Mr Cream and Clear Bonds admitted to using the cream but said he didnt know what is was when he took it. His trainer has admitted giving it to him. Gary Sheffield lived with Bonds and testified that Bonds gave him the cream the clear. Jason Giambi also testified to it. MLB has a very strong case to ban Bonds from the game. Bottom line, baseball is a game of cheaters with a very few select natural players hidden in the middle. Palmeiro is a disgrace to lie before Congress and then get caught. MLB is an EVEN BIGGER disgrace to delay announcement of his suspension so he can get his 3,000 hit in. Why do you think Barry Bonds hasn't been banned yet? He is close to breaking the most hallowed record in baseball. MLB wants him to break the record to create ratings and $$$ for the sport. They DONT CARE that he cheated to get there. I dont care to ever watch another game of baseball. End of story.

Texas will stomp OSU. Vince Yong is pretty damn unstoppable. Likewise, Notre Dame will probably run up the score on Michigan. (better coaching) I'm going to have the same deal with college football thar I have with MLB. Fix whats wrong with the game and I'll watch again. MLB refused to ban Barry Bonds and all the "alleged" steroid users so I refuse to watch a game. College football didn't fix the postseason disgrace of the BCS and its elitist bowl games, I have no desire to watch regular season college football highlighted by a great regular season and no way to distinguish a true national champion. USC killed Oklahoma last year. They return almost their entire offense. This is a team that hasnt lost in 2 years. Everyone likes to knock the Pac-10 because they dont play smashmouth football. The Pac-10 can hold its own v the rest of the country. They routinely beat up on other conferences. The Pac-10 is unique in that they tend to air the ball out more than grind games away like the midwest and southern teams do. Leinart is good, Reggie Bush is better.

No one beats USC this year Conversation is over before the season starts...

Michigan-Ohio State is the best college rivalry bar none Red Sox v Yankees is still WAY to one sided to call a rivalry, but it is nontheless a great rivalry Steelers v Ravens is turning into a huge rivalry in the NFL. Those two teams talk more junk against each other than I dont know what. The Wings Avs rivalry seems to be fading some as players change and go away, we'll see how it shakes up in the next few seasons.

Otherwise both teams shot poorly last night. The poor shots can be attributed to good defense. There weren't very many wide open looks last night.

Last night was a perfect example of how I can call Tim Duncan the best player in basketball. Even when he was struggling shooting with double and triple teams he found open players for big shots and was able to finally make some free throws. It would be very hard to argue against Tim Duncan being the best baller in the league right now. San Antonio won this game ugly with sick defense in the 2nd half. Bowen shut down B-B-B-Billups. Rip had a hand in his face all night. The only Pistons doing it were McDyess, Sheed and Wallace. Robert Horry was SO clutch last night. He took charges, blocked shots, had key steals, offensive rebounds and hit the 3s and free throws needed to help seal the deal. The Pistons should be back minus LB. Dont know how that affects them in the east but the east will be a lot tougher with the Heat coming back healthy. Glad I didnt have to eat any crow, but Detroit put up one hell of a good fight. This leaves one unanswered question.... ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL??

Everyone sees the same thing you guys were seeing from Detroit, more heart and desire. San Antonio is a shell of the team that dominated the first 2 games. I don't see how they can refind themselves after getting smacked around the past 5 games. Again, find me that crow image and get me a salt shaker for it. I wouldnt talk crap on Horry bro. He's one clutch MF'r. I do believe he is playing with a shoulder that needs surgically repaired. I have nothing but respect for the Pistons. They clearly want it more than San Antonio does. They outhustled them for every loose ball and Tay and Ben were all over the offensive glass. To me those offensive boards coupled with forced turnovers (mainly Ginobili) were the downfall of the Spurs. I'm still baffled at how Tim Duncan goes 15-15 from the line v the Suns and can't figure out that he needs to bend his knees so his free throws aren't line drives. (See Shaq for reference Timmy) I'll get raked against the coals for this but.....I don't see San Antonio beating Detroit in Game 7 after the last 4. Too much heart from Detroit, not enough effort on the San Antonio side. I hope you all still have your finger nails intact. If you do you won't after Game 7. Someone find me that crow graphic and a salt shaker.
