The starter starts to wear down, and in comes the BULLPEN! Hasek should have been put in the game. Holland got rid of Ozzie and Kozzie...and we got a Cup the next year. Would Ozzie have shutout the Avs two straight games down 3-2 to get us to the Cup Finals? I highly doubt it. Thats what it took to get that Cup.

Z's bad back doesnt have anything on the injury list Floppa has had for his career. A back is tricky, it can go any time. Floppa has had groin, abdominal, foot/ankle injuries. I'd stay away from that at all costs.

We were controlling the puck, we had a breakaway, we had some odd-man rushes. LA was demoralized and after they tied the game they had all the momentum. At that point, you gotta yank your goalie and put in Hasek. He's a pro, he can get warm quick. That night 7 years ago cost us a chance at a Cup. Colossal tank job afterwards. Thats why we went and got Hasek that summer.

Shaq doesnt have to dominate for Phoenix to win a title. He just has to have an inside presence and stay out of foul trouble. I think he can do that and help provide them with the size they've NEVER had to compete for it all. I'd be very worried about facing Phoenix with Shaq in the middle. He isn't option 1, or 2, or even 3. He's gonna be option 4 or 5 offensively.

If the media acknowledges his +/- and defensive prowess, then he should get some play. Its hard for a defender to win when a guy goes off for 50-60 goals. At the very least he should get another Norris. I will settle for another Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe trophy for Nick than the Hart, just my preference
