While its bothersome to lose that much production, we do have players who will step up and score goals. Its also not so much about the cumulative total more so than it is about the game to game total. We only need to score 1 more than the competition each night. We will probably see a more defensive style if we struggle with production.

Miss and love Steve Yzerman. The man put a lot of great memories into our lives. Love his game 7 winner against St Louis in 96'. I cried when Yzerman lifted the Cup all 3 times. Thank you Stevie Y!

As of today, the Conn Smythe should go to Chris Osgood. Now if Franzen or Zetterberg have a huge game tonight, then I would go with one of those two.

We're giving up odd-man rushes and playing out of position hockey. Babcock should give the boys today off on the ice and make them watch game tape to go over what they aren't doing right that they did so well the first 2 games. Outside of the odd-man rushes we are playing well, except on the PK

I don't think Osgood played a bad game. 2 of the 3 goals on him were screens and the middle goal was a 5 hole goal where he got caught out of position. Fleury has been caught out of position much more than Osgood has this series.

Hossa can score all his goals in game 4s. Thats fine by me

Cutting Draper saves $1.6 million. Maybe he got Nick to take a pay cut too. And we know Chelios shouldn't be back. Holmstrom may be gone too with the emergence of Franzen and Cleary. Gotta start moving some of these kids into the lineup

I'd like to take his $1.6 million salary and put it towards Hudler and/or Hossa. Holland should thank Draper for the years and let him go after this season. -
Call the game the way it is played. If its played chippy then call it that way. If the game is flowing then let the game flow until an actual penalty takes place. Its not rocket science

This team no longer belongs to 19. Nick Lidstrom is the captain of this team. The dynasty belongs to Ken Holland, Scotty Bowman, (now Mike Babcock), Jim Nill, Jim Devellano and of course the Ilitches. The front office is as much responsible for putting this team together for a long period of time as the players are.
