Imagine if the Oilers had Seguin and Landeskog vs the Nuge and Hall? That's a different team altogether isn't it? Tallon wouldn't have been afraid to do that.

When Datsyuk returns, one of Richards/Sheahan/Larkin will have to play the wing. Looks like you picked Sheahan but he really has no experience there. As much as I'd love to see him center that 2nd line, Larkin's the best winger out of those three, imo.

Also, the Panthers don't just pick the next guy off Craig Button's final rankings list when it's their turn to draft. They sort of draft for need. The year they took Barkov, he was ranked 4th behind McKinnon, Seth Jones and Drouin. They took him 2nd.

People have been saying this exact thing for 3 years now. He meant Ekblad + Campbell + four other guys that are all "poor man's Hedman's". I think. Florida were a hard team to beat last year. Barkov rules. The Panthers will be a playoff team this year. Hopefully not at the expense of our guys.

You missed the point. It's not that Smith and Kindl have suddenly become better players, it's that the coach is using them differently, so they're now more effective.

Stamkos would have done it in 350 games if it wasn't for Melrose screwing up his development. -
Waiting patiently for Tatar, Nyquist, Franzen, Sheahan, and Richards to produce some offense. Things are going to get ugly fast if some of these guys don't get going.
