I think Tatar is more of a goal scorer. But you're exaggerating a bit with description of their play. Take this year's stats in GR: Tatar - 45GP - 20G Nyquist - 57GP - 23G So while Tatar is on pace to score more, he's hardly blowing Goose out of the water.

Blashill's doing an amazing job with the Griffins. I know he took some blame for the PP here in Detroit last year but it's evident that he's a good coach and the PP is even worse this year under Renney. I think if The Wings ever truly decide to go with a youth movement, tBlashill will be the guy behind the bench.

Holland will have to leave his comfort zone though: meaning he'll need to part ways with players he's been loyal to (Cleary), use some amnesty buyouts (Cola, Sammy or Bert) and actually make some trades (Filpulla's rights, Franzen).
