It's nuts how much the cap is killing guys like Talbot. In the 90s, teams would have kept him on the roster just because of what he did in 09. Guy's only 31. Now it's 4-6 players at 6M+ and a bunch of kids making 950k. But whatever. f*** that little gnome and curses to him for all eternally.

I think that there will always be a forward hurt on this team. This bodes well for Larkin sticking for the entire season. If he earns it.

In fairness to Seravalli, he did call them "bold predictions". Also, Seravalli is the biggest knob in the tsn family and I rarely agree with anything he says. How the hell did he get that job?

I think the best thing that could have ever happened to Mantha was to get passed on the prospect list. Almost like the heat's off, with most of the focus on Larkin and with AA and Bertuzzi sharing the secondary spotlight. He seems to have found his game. That goal last night was a sniper's goal. -

I see the word "moved" or "move" a couple of times there. I am usually very very light on criticism of Holland, but when was the last time he moved a roster player? Of all the boring anti-Holland rhetoric, this is one of the few points I always agree with.
