Since I started the thread, I guess I should chime in. I think that Miller will get benched. It's not fair really, but I think it solves a few issues. Z-D-H Filpulla and the two BFFs Hudler - Abdlekader - Modano Cleary - Helm - Eaves. Cleary gets bumped to the forth line = wake up call, without being benched. Modano maybe gets embarrassed that a hard working player like Miller sits over him. Abdlekader brings fresh legs to the third line. But what do I know really?

Of all the wrong statements you've made as a Hudler zealot, this has to top the pile. I like Hudler. But not this much.

He's now 2-1 and his save % and GAA are improving.

A little bit of man-love here too. The two things I've been impressed with are his ability to hang on to the puck, and his willingness to shoot more. What a 2nd line!!!

All stupid fantasy league stuff aside, I actually think Cleary is the worst part about that line right now. Hudler and Modano may be a bit slow to adjust or whatever, but Selanne's goal was Cleary's fault. I think he still has injury issues.

Of course he expects them to pay. That's why he bought the Pistons. He's using the threat of moving the Wings to the suburbs as leverage for city funding for a new rink. With The Wings and Pistons playing in metro Detroit you get 10,000+ people in that area 100 times a year, spending money. Like Illitch, the city needs to invest in order to stimulate the economy. The man loves Detroit. If he wants a new rink, I say help the guy out. It will be good for the city and good for long-term revitalization.
