Stay at home D-Man please. But, as usual, Holland and Nill will simply take the best player available. They never draft for need. OR they'll trade the pick away for multiple 2nd rounders.

This series just seemed like an episode of the twilight zone. That's al there is to it, really.
-
Leino scored tonight.

Winning 4-of-5 will be tough. Just saying.
-
Trade Stuart to free up the cap space. Sign Volchenkov. He can log big minutes and kill penalties. This will allow Lidstrom to get some rest. Do a bunch of other stuff. Franzen - Datsyuk - Homer Bertuzzi - Zetterberg - Filpulla Cleary - Abdlekader - Hudler Eaves - Helm - Miller Draper Lidstrom Rafalski Kronwall Volchenkov Lilja Ericsson Kindl Howard Osgood

Whatever, this pansy wear helmet.

Let me know if I'm wrong here, but I believe the voting takes place before the playoffs start. In other words, they've announced the "top three" vote getters as the three Calder nominees, and among those three, someone has already been voted tops.

Nightmare Scenario: Tonight's game goes something like game 3 in the SJ-COL series. Wings dominate against a hot goaltender and lose 2-1 in OT. or Winning Scenario: Howard comes up big along with the offense and the Wings win 4-1. I haven't made up my mind yet.

Doan's out. http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/2010/04/coyotes_captain_shane_doan_out.html

Well sir, that's what the link was for.

Not practicing today. Ericsson paired with Lidstrom. Lebda in. http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/2010/04/red_wings_brian_rafalski_not_p.html

Massive F for Effort tonight. Phoenix > Detroit in every area of the game. From coaching to goaltending. This series has that 2006 vibe going on.
-
Wings need to spread out the offense on the top 3 lines, and increase the effectiveness of the 4th line. Zetterberg- Datsyuk - Homer Franzen - Filpulla - Cleary Bertuzzi - Miller - Williams Abdlekader/Draper - Helm - Eaves And roll 4 lines!!!!!!
-
MVP: Howard Sleeper: Rafalski or Holmstrom

This team doesn't get tougher, but I don't think this team gets softer either. Replacing noodle-boy Williams with Abby vs replacing Homer with Hudler is pretty much a wash.

This is maybe the best post in this thread.

I don't care how he finishes the regular season as long as he brings his A-game in the playoffs.
