It just means that without Franzen and Filpulla, the team has been scoring by committee to replace the loss of these two players. plus Hossa, Sammy and Hudler. When Mule and Val are back, the same players, plus these two should be able to generate the same amount of offense in the post season as they did last year. Keeping in mind that replacing Hossa's six goals scored in 3 games and zero in the finals shouldn't be hard to do.

Same type of play he showed in the dying minutes of the last Wings - Canucks game in Vancouver, to preserve the one goal lead. He definitely has Schneider's number.

On paper McCollum is the guy. 6'2" - 205lbs - 1st round pick Larsson is 6' - 180 lb - 3 round pick. But anything can happen. I like both of them for different reasons.

I missed the game on Saturday. Finally had a chance to watch the replays. I was bracing myself for that 2nd Avs goal to be a totoal stinker. BUT lo and behold, there's Lebda with his stupid stick in the way. Either deflect the damn shot , or get out of the way. Not to rag too much on him, but he's playing terrible hockey. I can't remember the last Wings defensemen whose mistakes have so obviously accounted for so many huge goals against over such a short period of time. Ericsson's not exactly playing lights out either, but for me, Lebda's the guy.
