Yeah, to think Detroit has Datsyuk and Kronwall both locked up for 10M in total for the next three four years is a warming thought.

Dallas have nothing to lose with these antics. Luring Detroit into a dirt-bath is the only chance they have at getting back into the series. The Wings had best just ignore the shenanigans and play a full 60 tomorrow.

This is fishy. My vote says he got his arm slashed of by Winchester. Doesn't make sense that he's been suffering since the Nashville series. Because a) he's been playing and b) he's been playing amazingly. Anyone recall him getting drilled in the nashville series? I can't remember.

Did Franzen get slashed badly by Winchester? I strained to see him on the ice for the post game Chris Osgood head pats. I couldn't spot him.

I love Maltby. But you have to respect the coaching staff's decision to stay with the winning line-up. Here's hoping we don't see Maltby for the rest of the playoffs.

Thus far: 1. Franzen 2. Zetterberg 3. Datsyuk 4. Lidstrom 5. Osgood 6. Kronwall Osgood has been great. But putting him ahead of the guys above him on that list is nothing more than fan-boy love. IMO.

Let me just say, this is a good problem for the Wings to have. If you had told me they would look this deep up front right now when Kopecky got hurt and Sammy and Draper and Homer all seemed banged up I would have laughed.

Like home ice advantage rest is almost always a good thing. It's up to the coaching staff to maintain intensity and momentum in practices, etc. Detroit is healthy, and getting rid of the Dives in 4, preventing injuries, may be the key to winning the cup this year.
