Detroit have to give up more depending on how high Bert finishes on the team for playoff points right. And how many games he plays right? Does anyone think the Wings are sitting him to curb these stats, so they'll end up giving up less in the trade? Seems far-fetched.

Well although it was a tremendous play by Steve, it was only round 2. Detroit loses round 3 to Colorado next. I'd say in the history of the NHL playoffs, there's been enough big goals scored in the finals and semifinals to fill 20 top 10 lists.

#1 If Calgary brings the wood, they will be in the box all game. And since everyone in the world is talking about how dumb they're playing, they have no choice but to adjust their game. I expect them to play disciplined hockey. So this shouldn't be a concern #2 I think Detroit actually has another gear as well. I don't think period #2 of game 2 was as much Calgary playing well as Detroit sliding a bit. I expect Hasek to steal a game for Detroit. My only concern is the play of Lang. Sammy's a poofter and that will never change. Kipper has been brilliant. But it seems pointless to remark on how the Flames would have lost both games 6-1 or 8-1 if it weren't for him. Because the Flames lost. 2-1 or 6-1, it makes no difference.
