Agreed. Would be awesome. Maybe those club-footed neanderthals want some speed up front? Helm? Of course Eklund also say Wings and Kings bidding on Oduya. Which is not nearly as exciting. He had been yaking about Kessel going to Pittsburgh for at least the last week. Also, he had Martin going to either San Jose or LA. Maybe his sources are getting better?

LOL Exactly. And how would that be a termination of contract and the Stoll incident not be? Unless they had a beer smuggling clause written in there or something Part of me thinks that this reeks of the Kings desperately trying to rid themselves of that contract because Lombardi screwed up and didn't buy Richards out when he had the chance. Part of me thinks Richards has some serious issues that date back to his days in Philly. Pure speculation on my part, of course. -
Jesus. What a disgraceful pile of incompetence on the B's part. Apparently bunch of NHL GMs didn't even know he was available. You'd have to think they could have started a major bidding war. Reminds me of when Thorton was traded to San Jose by, you guessed it, the Bruins.

Very interseting. This sort of thing doesn't happen that often. I wonder what he would have had to do to breach the terms of his contract. Too much time at Stoll's place?
