The whiniest coach in the motherf***ing league.

ECQF Game 6 GDT : Lightning 5 at Red Wings 2 - Series Tied 3-3

Therrien, Edzo, Julien, and Cooper. As far as I know, they're the only people I know that have complained. Of those four I just mentioned, two of them are A-grade tools. I respect Julien. The verdict's still out on Cooper.

ECQF Game 6 GDT : Lightning 5 at Red Wings 2 - Series Tied 3-3

I think he's talking about getting 8 or 9 power plays tonight or something.

ECQF Game 6 GDT : Lightning 5 at Red Wings 2 - Series Tied 3-3

It's absolutely amazing how many Montreal fans, that I know, want to play Detroit next round. Here's hoping they get their wish.

All Purpose Grand Rapids Griffins Thread

Griffins are in trouble. Down 2-0 to the Marlies. 7-4 and 5-2. Looks like they miss Mrazek.

WCQF : (6) Minnesota Wild vs. (2) St. Louis Blues

*sigh* Just goes to show you that size, grit, and physicality aren't the be-all and end-all of playoff hockey. Sometimes speed and puck movement and scoring are, you know, sort of important and stuff. The Blues were so slow today it was almost disgraceful. And Allen was terrible. There's your series in a nutshell.
  9. Stolen from the members of WiiM http://www.wingingitinmotown.com/2015/4/25/8497937/game-recap-communism-wins-detroit-red-wings-shutout-tampa-bay-lightning-4-0 Star Wars line: Luke, Lando, and Drew-bacca If the Wings can keep winning, this has to become a thing.
  10. It's like the story Babcock has been writing all year is finally coming true!!!!
  11. Stays within the division. Rangers play the Caps/Islanders.
  12. Best defensive effort of the season. Not going to be easy to finish Tampa off though.
  13. Woodford Reserve and Stella.
  14. I can handle losing. I can handle the breakdowns. What I can't handle is Johnson going into the boards like he was dead on mild contact with Glendenning and the bulls*** that ensued. Luke gets rag-dolled from behind, hurts his hand, and that diving little midget has his way for the next 6 minutes and OT. Why can't these teams win without resorting to tactics?
  15. Well the good news is that Saturday's another opportunity....... to cross-check Johnson in the ******* throat.
  16. Oh man. The ball game will be great. I meant "Hopefully" as in: "Hopefully the motherf***ing Wings win tonight!!!!!!"
  17. Exactly. The laughing Hudlers will always be the best. For the record, I found that Babcock photoshop on the "Down With Detroit" Facebook page. I didn't create it.
  18. Win tonight, or face the wrath of Babcock

Knuckles vs Numbers - The death of the enforcer

But they still all have hot WAGs. And when it come to hockey, that's all that matters. Ammirite? (a bit of an inside joke)
  20. What a pile of sheeeite. Last time I checked, the goalie was part of the team. Basically, by this logic, Montreal are a lottery pick team. Except for that Price guy helping them out.
  21. Look no further than what Babcock said after Game 2. Tampa had at least three pucks end up on their stick for easy goals. Did he complain about lucky bounces? Nope. What he said was "we played well, made some awful mistakes but we'll clean those up here for Game 3" He also said "we need more compete out of a bunch of our players" No team has ever won a playoff series without getting bounces. Good ones happen randomly to teams all the time, and so do bad ones. I didn't actually see the Cooper scrum but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that he probably should be asking for more out of some of his players now that he's down 2-1 rather than leaving the fate of his Lighting in the hands of puck luck.
  22. There have been teams in the past that have beaten the Wings that have lacked the depth and personnel ON PAPER to compete with them. This Wings team lacked the depth and personnel to beat Anaheim in 2013, but they did. This is essentially the same team only they're supposed to be better. Unless you consider losing Brunner a major blow to depth. All I'm saying is there most certainly is room for magical combinations in this series and it can make a difference. That and maybe Mrazek.
  23. NHL.com has the game starting a 7PM ET Beautiful GDT though. LGWs!!!!!!
