That’s a fair statement. But so do the Habs, for example. Every playoff team right now scores more than they do. In fact, 21 other teams in the league score more than they do. Yet they lead the East. I’ve never called this team a top contender this year. But they are better than most. And 4th overall in GAA after 56 games is a fair indication that they play pretty good team defence. -

Good lord. When will it end? I go to Montreal at least once a year for business and/or pleasure. I somehow manage to get fat, drunk, sometimes enlightened, and always highly entertained. My french is about as good as Archie Bunker's. -
