Expect a shat-ton of Red Wing penalties, Perron's stupid "I'm special" tinted visor, and lots of the "suttal" talk from EdZo. Yep. And Glendenning with the phantom "Game Misconduct" penalty in the 2nd.

I'd be careful about breaking up the "DeQuincey" pairing (as Ken and Mickey call them). I'd start Franson out with Smith. But that's a pretty good looking group of six D. -
I can all but guarantee that Sheahan's line will be out there against Crosby and Datsyuk's line vs Malkin. Until those guys start to cry and Johnston is forced to really work the match-ups.

I'm glad the Myers thing has been put to rest. Obviously the Jets get better (for now) considering Kane wasn't going to play again this season.

Mantha's stock has fallen because of his injury. He's in the same boat as AA. Larkin's the best prospect not named Mrazek. I'm not talking right vs wrong. I'm talking reliability. There's a difference. -

The deadline is quickly becoming a "generally" unreliable option for improving a team. I say "generally" because although 16 teams make the playoffs, only a few teams a year get a real ugrade at the deadline. Same thing can be said for UFA time in early July. More and more it seems like Holland's right: the only reliable way to build your team and the only way you're not at the mercy of other GMs, agents, supply and demand, etc, is to draft and develop from within. -
