Hopefully it's something like: "I need to work my ballz off".
-
If you're going to play along "Zombo Style" you could start by not sounding like a ranting over-zealous fan-boy.
-
Good call. Jurco 100% has earned a spot on Datsyuk's line. Also, I can't wait to see Athanasiou blocking all those shots meant for Miller. If we're lucky, he'll break his ankle or something because that's exactly what he needs to truly complete his development.

GDT 11/10 GDT : Washington Capitals at Red Wings, 7:30 EST

You'll notice Datsyuk on the top line with Zetterberg and Larkin. That's obvously not happening tonight so I expect Abdlekader will remain in the top 6, most likely with Zetterberg. -
Coaches have been re-hired with three year extensions http://www.tsn.ca/mondaymustread-flint-firebirds-re-hire-coaches-after-player-protest-1.390508

What are you guys blaming Smith for? It's Nyquist's fault for picking his ass instead of helping out.
-
LOL. "Only guy trying"? Get real. Smith's guy was Nichushkin. All he had to do was take the man. Instead he basically just stood there and allowed a shot AND another shot off the rebound, which ended up in the net. None of this has anything to do with Nyquist. Nice "try".

For sure the dumbest Red Wing I can remember. Makes Aaron Ward look like Joe Juneau .
-
He's 6'1", 190lbs. Not trying to split hairs but nothing about how Larkin plays screams "small" to me. Anyway, I want another Abdlekader too.
-
Whoa. So.... Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Larkin Nyquist - Sheahan - Tatar Abdlekader - Athanasiou - Pulkkinen Miller - Glendenning - Helm ? Not sure how I'd feel about taking the only remotely "power forwardy" forwad out of the top 6.
-
I agree with this. Although I'd be careful lumping Larkin into the same category as those other three. He plays a way better north-south game and likes to skate towards the net.
-
If he was 6'1" and playing the exact same way he is now, no one would be saying anything. As far as AA goes, if the team plans on playing AA with skilled guys in the top 9, I have zeo problems with him staying up for a bit. It would be nice if he or Sheahan could play on the wing. Nyquist - Zetterberg - Abdlekader Larkin - Datsyuk - Tatar AA - Sheahan - Pulkkinen Miller - Glendenning - Helm

This. All day long.

Seems like an issue with his contact lens more than concussion protocol stuff. Which is good news. http://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/nhl/red-wings/2015/11/08/wings-fall-stars-lose-howard-injury/75426308/

Bush. Get Saarijarvi out of there.

11/8/2015 - Dallas Stars VS Detroit Red Wings - GDT

He's playing better than Tatar. May as well trade both of them. -
He'd be the closest I guess. But he's miles away physically. Anyway, I do get what you're saying.
-
What other Wings players are like Abdlekader though?
-
So good
-
So an extra year and an extra 0.75M really makes or breaks this for you eh? You're really living in the margins on this one.
-
I mostly agree with this. I think it's the way things should and eventually will be. But it's clearly a little too soon to completely move on when it's still a thing with pro journalists. See Travis Yost's recent article about The Babcock Effect of him leaving Detroit as just one example. When sports media lets go, specifically the spin doctors at tsn and sportsnet, I'll let go. This. For another 100 years!!!!
-
I personally believe it is the wrong decision. Babcock has won everything with team Canada, the world cup of hockey is a joke (see team europe and team under 24). So why risk a perfect legacy for such a joke? You just asked a question that's already answered in the headline of the article in the post you quoted as a set-up to your question. Turbo-meta.

GDT 11/6 GDT : Red Wings at Toronto Maple Leafs, 7:00 EST

I have a bad feeling about this one. I feel like the HOF festivities, having Lidstrom and Fedorov around, along with under-estimating the Leafs may dilute some of the team's focus for this game. Let's hope I'm wrong because losing tonight would be mostly unacceptable. -
People still want Jurco in even though Andersson's been the better player? Interesting.....
-
I'm sure he just meant "his last cup"......
