I like the guy more after reading this. What an embarrassment. I would be appalled if I were an Avs fan. But then again, we're carrying the dead weight of a mule around with us too.

Man, those videos remind me how intense the rivalry was. I remember every time we played Colorado my stomach would be in knots all day thinking about it. Haven't had anything like that since.

Not cool to be disrespectful to a post like this. It's creative and creates an interesting hockey discussion. If you think it's a bad idea explain why. Good way to learn. I concur that with the defence pinching, it transforms into an inferior 3-2. And you are hancuffing the offense from creating any real chances.

I work at a hospital. We get intractable back pain patients all the time. Usually when it's severe and sudden like this, it's from muscle spasm and there is no need for surgery. Usually goes away after a few days of heavy duty muscle relaxers. But who knows if that's the case here.

It's strange though, because if you watch the TV series "The Season" from a long time ago, Avery was splitting time between the AHL and the Wings. He seemed well put together and Holland had a tough time trading him. I think things slipped afterward.

I thought Brunner was the new and improved Hudler. Can we just agree that Hudler wasn't spectacular and leave it at that? Haha, poor guy.

Howard is exactly the goalie we need. Solid but not amazing at a price that allows us to build a team around him. In the cap era, squandering money on an elite goaltender is not worth it because no goalie will consistently steal games for you. A solid defense goes much farther.

Knock on wood, Wings 5-2. Look for Tootoo's first as a Wing, Kronwall, Franzen, Datsyuk, and a garbage goal for Cleary off a weird bounce.
