his only post-game comments after the schooling the wings gave the pens in game 2 was how he couldn't believe the red wings don't retaliate. hey, you color-blind old f***: the name of the game is WINNING. lol...

i don't hate cherry because he's canadian...only because he's stupid and a bigot.

when the wings drafted him i expected him to be in detroit by now. and i'm not buying he's had superstars ahead of him. the wings re-upped hasek because howard isn't ready or hasn't done it yet. i'm skeptical of his long-term at this point.

look: hockey in places like nashville and columbus (jesus) was always--ALWAYS--a HORRIBLE idea. it was a bad, stupid idea and bettman ran with it and forced it and forced and forced it--and he's still forcing it! i'm not trying to offend passionate fans of those two cities (or others like them); rather i'm saying that bettman's vision was flawed since it's inception: that the nhl could be forcefully taken away from canada and forcefully dumped on american locales that had never shown an ounce of interest in nhl hockey.

i'm hoping kindl can make the squad next year. it'd be a bit of a jump but i think he could handle being the 5-6 guy.

i'm going to barf if i read one more post of praise for the wings. the wings took on the personality of their joe louis fans: blow off the first two periods and then show up in the 3rd period. they've been doing that for at least 3 straight years--regular season and the playoffs--and when their PLAYOFF LIVES WERE ON THE LINE THEY DID IT AGAIN! inexcusable! how the fock do you sleep-walk through the first two periods of a do-or-die game? you people who are good with that are settling: you're just greatly relieved the wings didn't choke in the first round again...whiich is sad if you really think about it. blowing a series the way the wings blew this series should cost both players and coaches their jobs. but...it won't. which is part of the problem.
