even though pronger didn't get called for it..i'm guessing the league can review and still fine and suspend his ass anyway? not that they will, because they have no balls...just asking from a "technically speaking" standpoint. seems to me i remember players getting suspended for stuff that wasn't called during the game before.

annoying tidbit from last night's duck-canuck game: the announcers gushing over niedermeyer and pronger and wondering if there "ever had been two norris trophy winners on the same blueline for a team in the playoffs..." and then went on for about five minutes on having to look it up and speculating it never ever has happened before. -
lol...don cherry was blasting the ice crew in dallas over that one...suggested maybe the nhl could send some canucks down there to show the folks in dallas how to make ice properly. funny stuff.

I have a serious question: how can any knowledgable flame fans want iginla wearing the "C"? he's too hot-headed to be a good captain. he led the flames down the path of ruin in game 5 and acts like a loose cannon a-hole on the ice most every night. his talent is there--but being captain isn't solely about talent. frankly, i think he's the worst kind of personality you'd want in a captain. horrible.

i cut cbc slack. it's life or death for them. canadian teams tank and they end up losing money and moving to arizona or someplace similar. american teams don't have to worry about folding and moving to canada. free tip.

again, without seeing the stat sheet, i'd say the quality scoring chances are about even. dom robbed them 2 or 3 times that period as well. the total shots on goal is a misleading and meaningless stat: the wings dump the puck in on goal and shoot from the boards...most of their shots are harmless.

even on the power play they're shooting the pucks from the corners. easy! i could stop those shots. 200 of whatever the f the total number of shots have been have been pathetically easy saves for kips. the wings are hellbent to make him look good on the stat sheet. disgusting that this is going 7. inexcusable.

the shot ratio is sooo overrated with kips. 80 percent of the wings shots are harmless from the corners and the boards. even though the shots were 13-4 in the first the quality scoring chances were about even.
