You people can be ridiculous. Let's make this simple. Is Nashville like Detroit at this point yet? No. But what was Detroit like when we first got a team? I honestly have no idea about the attendance in those days because no one ever talks about it. And besides, before Illitch began turning this team around, we were the Dead Wings and no one came the games. Do you think the league should have contracted us? Nashville is still blossoming into a hockey market against considerable odds. The people who complain about Nashville are the same people who non-chalantly claim that Columbus should be contracted. What people dont realize is that considering Columbus' performance the attendace has been first class.

Well I agree with the respect Yzerman part. I can deal with Wings-haters just fine, but for some reason when someone starts talking s*** about Stevie Y, it's like your talking s*** about family.

I remember that game vividly. Luc threw a slap at somebody. Mac wasnt already kicked out and I have no idea where Fisch was. Shanny was done because he had a 5 minute major with less than 5 minutes left in the game. The Blues showed some real balls going after the likes of Homer, Luc, and Draper. I was hoping the whole time Kocur would walk out onto the ice and kick someone's ass.

I barely remember Probie in a Wings jersey, the first hockey game I ever watched was when I was 8 and the Wings beat the Sharks that night but lost that series in 94. Does anyone remember Fedorov going apes*** on somebody that series and getting suspended or something? I remember it was something really shocking and pretty dirty, at least to me at the time.

Seriously though, why would there be a "Let's Go Predators" chant in JLA. The only other team chant I've ever heard in JLA is "Go Leafs Go"...there were at most 50 Nashville fans there, and I doubt they were all sitting together to make the chant audible. I'm disagreeing with you, as I also heard and it was Lets Go Red Wings. At any rate, most chants sound the same and I'm done arguing about this.
