The Wings have an abundance of guys like Zherdev...maybe not his calibre of talent...but we certainly dont need him. He's had a rocky time in Columbus and has been benched by Hitchcock a few times for his refusal to play defense. He also tries to make too much happen on his own....nice shootout goal he had last night to beat Vancouver. Also, he has one goal in his last 22 games...do we really need another guy slumping it up on the second line? -

I love animals too, but I'm kind of sick of how "special" the media made him out to be. He was no different than any other horse they make into glue, dog food, etc.

I specifically remember Game 4 obviously. We had the whole family at our house and I don't remember our family being so happy as a whole as when Stevie lifted that cup over his head. You watch these guys for so long and fall short every year, and then to finally do it...it really felt like you were a part of it. Happy tears all around.

I know Sparty fans are almost shellshocked into being permanently skeptical and pessimistic, but I like Dantonio a lot and it could take a few years, but I see them getting back towards the top of the Big Ten soon.

3 of Ohio State's 4 non-conference opponents made it to bowls...not that that says much 7-5 Northern Illinois makes it into the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.

Without the BCS, Michigan is playing in the Outback Bowl...at least in pre-BCS terms.
