what about the lions and bobby carpenter? same reaction?? Yeah, that would be great too, although his injury in the Michigan game is pretty worrysome. I dont see Bobby on campus though...so I doubt I'd be able to hit em up for his autograph. Actually, about Hawk, first day of class Spring Quarter I was headed into the building for my first class and I held the door for a guy I heard walking behind me. I turned and it was AJ Freakin Hawk. All I could think was, this guy is about to filthy rich, but right now, he's just like me. Only athletically talented and famous.

If the Lions drafted A.J. Hawk I would cry tears of joy. Considering he has a Monday morning class in the same building as me, I could be the first to have an autographed AJ Hawk Lions jersey. I like the Lions at QB now. McCown has a lot of potential and Kitna is a good veteran, although he's getting to the point in his career where most QB's go south in a hurry. I'd like the Lions to build up the OL and pretty much anywhere on the defense. Specifically the secondary, but the DL is probably a priority. As usual, hope springs eternal this time of the year for Lions fans.

Yeah, like put the names of players below the red stripe at the bottom of the white jerseys and on the white stripe on the bottom of the red jerseys. Also, they should change the font that is used for lettering something that is cool and impossible to read.

Why not bring back the pants like Peterborough used to wear? Silver with 30 or 40 Red Wings symbols on them like polka dots. And a big rigid line going up one side with all the colors of the spectrum. That would be so awesome.......

Thanks for the feedback. While I was uploading the picture on to the net, I realized that instead of black, silver would probably be more intriguing. The fight in my avatar is Billy Bob Thornton in Bad Santa beating up adolescents. Red (scarlet), Silver (gray), and white....for some reason I like that. As for changing the jerseys, I would have to go with a resounding NO. There's nothing wrong with the current ones and tradition needs to be kept in the game.

Oh well...I'm not as upset as I thought I would be. They were an overachieving team all year long. The excitement about next year is enough to keep us occupied.

WUSA 9 out of Washington DC showed like 5 minutes of the OSU game tops. But, by the looks of it, its just as good I couldnt watch.

By the way, did anybody see video of that Allen Ray incident? His eyeball was outside of his skull.....vicious.

I'm just glad it doesnt affect our postseason eligibility for the next few years. God, that would have been devastating. It's bad enough we have to take down a Final Four banner that had nothing to do with a player who ever attended the university.

I think its a little ridiculous since the money went to an athlete's family (who turned professional by the way) just so they could have money to feed themselves. But either way, this sports program has to get their head out of their ass. It's embarassing to an otherwise proud university.

Its always a mixed bag with the Lions on Thanksgiving. They either have their game of the year or they get blownout. Last few Thanksgivings, its been the latter.

Hey, the Clips are second in their division. Got some good talent there...and they had the worst GM in sports until Isiah Thomas decided to destroy something new.

I can see the huge benefits for the city of Detroit getting a Superbowl every decade or so, but I dont want to lose the Thanksgiving Game. Its about family....nothing brings us closer than diving into a delicious meal and bitching about the Lions.

Shut up.... What if the Lions cant sign anyone even with Martz as our offensive coordinator? Is he good enough to make us better with the talent we have? I mean, I see an offense on the field that should be pretty good, at least against the weaker defenses, but they always look so damn inept.

Yeah, thats true...but they've had NCAA tourney success, which is much more important. They do tend to be overrated at the beginning of every season though.

All I have to say to that is....Big Ten Champs! We dont get these as often as the Sparties do...let us enjoy our victory.
