I'm so ready for this game! Ohio State wins with special teams and key defensive stops. That and because Jim Tressel is in LLLoyd Carr's head. Let the trash talk begin!
-
Wow, what a great game. I'll be honest, I was preparing myself for a loss, I hadnt given up, but it wasnt looking good. Then to comeback....it was such a great feeling. I know you guys dont want to hear this, but it was a great game and I'm really happy. Just remember that we had to go through this in the 90's, so after a few more years, we'll be even.

I'm surprised there isnt a word out of Matt in this thread. Probably reserving his comments until after the game. A good strategy if so, but this is too much fun.
-
All Hail Tressel! Remember the Fab Five?
-
You're right, because I wont be as surprised when the Buckeyes win Saturday. It'll be much more subdued...something along the line of every LLLoyd Carr postgame interview.
-
The Buckeyes win! The Buckeyes win....THHHHHEEEE BUCKEYES WIN! I'm not really that excited...its about damn time.
-
Well...we gotta show up to play sooner or later. I'm thinkin tonite is a Buckeyes win just because we really need to get things going.
-
I like the Kings' owners. I enjoyed the fact that they pretended to care when their WNBA team won the championship.
-
If it helps, when reading it, imagine its the voice of MTV Celebrity Deathmatch star Judge Mills Lane.
-
Ya know, I even thought of that when I posted the topic. But I rest assured that only I was immature enough to read that and think of Barry White singing and the other obvious implications of the phrase.
-
It doesnt really make sense though...considering we're still gonna end up in a pretty decent bowl with a loss. How many of you honestly thought a month ago you'd be having this discussion right now?

vs. Miami (OH) W 34-14.....COME ON! vs. SDSU W 27-6......See above vs. Iowa W 31-6....Good win over a good team vs. Michigan State W 35-24......MSU choked and you know it... vs. Indiana W 41-10.....please...... vs. Minnesota W 45-31...Over-hyped after Michigan win... vs. Illinois W 40-2...Illinois.....do I need say more? vs. Northwestern W 48-7...Season gone in a spiral....... All games we should have won. I agree, thats not the point however. It was simply in response to Eva's claim that we've been struggling in our wins. If that's struggling...what's gonna happen when we play well? And MSU definitely choked (story of their lives), thats not to say we wouldnt have come back and won that game anyway.

Old but worthwhile... You're trapped on a deserted island with a cannibal, mass murderer, and a Michigan fan. You have a shotgun and two bullets, who do you shoot? The Michigan fan....twice.

How can you say Ohio State has been stumbling thru their wins the closest game that the buckeyes won was by 11 pts against michigan state. Michigan has had much more closer wins against iowa, penn state and michigan state....all those games by 3 or less. As far as Michigan has been better in their loses, its a wash in that ohio state has lost by 7 and 3 points...michigan has lost by 7 and 3 points twice. The difference to me as far as the schedule has been that Ohio State has played Texas. Michigan hasn't played a top team like Texas all year. The rest of your post is all . Michigan has as much on the line as Ohio State. Edge goes to Ohio State. GO BUCKEYES!! I meant Michigan has been the better team on the FIELD in their losses. The Notre Dame loss only happened because the officials missed a touchdown towards the end (the next play after the missed TD call was a turnover) Against Wisconsin Michigan controlled the game and just made a couple errors towards the end. Against Minnesota it was again just a few unlucky moments that turned the game around. Michigan also played the most difficult section of their schedule without Mike Hart, one of the top backs in the nation and Michigan's best player. Hart will be healthy against the Buckeyes, and it's been well documented this season that Michigan is a MUCH better team with Hart in the lineup. Had Hart not gotten injured early against ND...Michigan might be undefeated right now. Do you actually believe all these things or are you just saying them to get a reaction? The post previous to this one was hilarious. I just want to know if I should give you credit or it was unintentional. Who the hell cares who looked better in their losses? The teams we did lose to...Number 2 and Number 5 currently.

It games like this that make me so mad every other week. Maybe it's the Cardinals, maybe they actually had their head out of their ass...but it can be done.
-
Go Spartans indeed! Mike Hart was healthy last season....hope he has a better performance so it at least stays close this year. On the plus side, you guys dont have Braylon Edwards to drop easy 4th down passes anymore. Aside from those low blows, this is one of the games that memories of the past bring back. Ohio State looking for a big bowl bid, Michigan with a disappointing season....not good.
-
Look at Sacramento....its the ghetto of California. We kicked their ass on the courts, good enough redemption for me.
-
I dont really care, I'm convinced no matter what the Lions do they'll never be better than mediocre. I'm only 19 and I've lost all confidence in seeing a Lions Super Bowl game, much less a win.
-
Not been a good start for sure....I cant really tell you what it is, hopefully they snap out of it and get on track before tournament time.
-
You know, I was thinking the same thing. Watch Joey have the game of his career. Therefore he would get 5 or 6 courtesy starts afterwards, 4 of which would be terrible.
-
Might as well lose out...another high draft pick would help solidify our future. A future that I thought was gonna show through this season....but it's not.
-
My only thought, "Why do I continue to put time and emotion into watching the Detroit Lions?".
-
Yeah, but this was their year to finally be better than Michigan. It's gotta be how the Blues felt in 2001 before we reaffirmed their position as our perenial *****.

Baseball does suck compared to hockey and football, but I still follow in hopes that the Tigers will win one in my lifetime, I miss the last one by a year. My girlfriend comes from a family of diehard Cubs fans, so this is just more salt in the wounds. The Red Sox win and end their drought, the Southside wins and ends their drought and gets to shove it in Cubs fans faces. I didnt care who won, I just wanted to see a team win it at home again.
