He was mentioned but will most likely be redshirted. The third I was talking about was Boeckman. The kid might be better than both Smith and Zwick. Personally I hope Smith start because our offense was definitely more effective with him in the shotgun. We have a bit of a dilemma though, Smith is suspended for the first game so either Zwick or Boeckman will start...our second game is against Texas, maybe the biggest game in the NCAA in the first half of the season. Might be shaky if it's Smith's first game. Real nervous about that game. And then we play Iowa two games later, we'll know real quick in the season if we have the National Championship caliber team that was mentioned or a up-down team like last year.

We cant...the economy is too good.

If Joey Harrington cant get something done with the offense we have this year, he should be out of the NFL. I'm not exactly ecstatic about Garcia but if Harrington is sucking it up after 3 games, put in Jeff. That said, now's the time when Joey can make us forget about the losing seasons.

Anybody see any of the Big Ten media day? Always gets me excited for the upcoming year. Possibly a 3-way battle at QB for my Buckeyes.

That would be awful....my dad would never let me hear the end of it. If it was a play for the national championship, dont you think they'd go to someone with better hands such as Avant.

In the Big Ten Purdue has a ridiculously good schedule. They might win by default. I hope it'll come down to Michigan and Ohio State again and I really like our chances this season (Go Bucks!). I've seen Iowa ranked as high as #3 in a couple of preseason polls, they could even be national championship-caliber. Penn State could surprise a lot of people as well. No matter what I CANNOT WAIT for the football season to begin. College football is just behind hockey for me so it's a great time of the year.

I thought about posting that article earlier. Great article, hopefully it does alot to pump some money into Detroit and help with the renewal and renovation of the city.

What a s***ty second half....Spurs deserved to win and we deserved to lose. Good playoff run....just really disappointed right now. 9 point lead in the second half and then the team took a collective dump at half court. Time for hockey to come back.

Besides being a Michigan fan which is nearly unforgivable...I think JohnO was not alone in his sentiment that the Pistons were blowing it. They are not a team for the faint of heart and I believe he was merely venting his feelings. Who amongst us hasnt counted our team out after a bad showing only to feel better about it the next day and remain optimistic. The day after Game 5 I figured we were done with, until Tuesday I had the feeling that I just knew we were gonna win. So I'm just saying, cut the guy some slack, after all, its just basketball.

I feel like partying right now, but we gotta come with even more intensity to win Thursday. For inspiration look to the 2002 WCF, the Avs had their chance in Game 6, lost....and well we all know how Game 7.

The Pistons arent the best at anything in the league, except finding a way to win. I think the Pistons will find a way to get this done, in spite of all the Spurs-love in the media.
